Selling it for $25 is beyond ridiculous, particularly with it's lower-than-premium looking packaging. It looks like something from the dollar store. The "it lasts 3 years" angle is a weak way to find some kind of value proposition, yes it lasts 3 years because it's nylon, a synthetic which takes 250 years to break down in a landfill. Nice girl, not so smart.
I think Touker is very much on point about this product and even if the entrepreneur follows his advice, Nett Exfoliator will never be a massive product. It just isn't supposed to be. But at least it won't go back to selling 80 units / month.
Sarah was spot on. The product can be easily replicated, plus it's priced too high. There's an unlimited number of exfoliates made out of Nylon that can bought either online or in retail stores, machine washable, and some of the cheaper ones are priced from $2.50 to $7.25.
