Mr Murray you are one of the best teachers I've ever encountered - you taught me in year 6 at lanfranc and made science engaging and fun, always looked forward to your lessons and it's great to see you making content, I hope this gets seen by all the struggling A level students out there!
Yup! 🙋♂️, I’ve been watching Mr Murray’s Videos since year 12 and he is definitely the best biology teacher I’ve ever seen, definitely best on RUclips, he literally clears any confusions and make it so easier to enjoy biology! He definitely is helping this A level student 🤝😁
HIII im so glad the comments are on! I wanted to say i love your channel alot it really helps me out TONS as I have Autism and ADHD. The colour coding and images are extremely helpful🤩
Thank you for turning comments on! I don't go to the school that you teach at but I did find your channel last year and it has been so helpful to my revision! I appreciate you doing this very much. Do you plan on doing anymore of the year 13 topics revision mindmaps? Thanks again!
absolute legend. thankyou so much, without you I woldn't understand much. Your videos have really helped me in biology a level and they go into just the right amount of depth we need to know!
Thank you so much sir, I have ADHD and find it quite hard to sit through hours of reading without bouncing off the walls, these videos are super interactive and have helped me love biology again!
Thank you very much for all the help so far in year 12&13. This video is amazing and i was wondering if you are going to tailor your content towards the new Advanced Informatiopn for this summer?
Would you recommend learning from the spec, as the textbook has many paragraphs of info not listed on the spec additional guidance section... (also love your videos!!)
Yes - definitely learn the spec as a minimum but you should also study the textbook extra detail and further examples as these are common application style questions (where you aren’t expected to recall facts but are expected to work with new info) and they’ll be a lot easier if youve read about them before
CAN YOU PLEASEEEEEE DO SOME MINDMAPS FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT TOPICS IN THE OCR EXAMS - eg. plant and animal responses or cloning & biotechnology - YOU ARE THE ONLY REASON I UNDERSTAND BIOLOGY. thank you xxxx
Plant and animal responses are up but it’s a little weird. Plant hormones (plant responses) is in my hormones video. Animal responses is in my muscles and nerves video (first 20 minutes and then the last 20 minutes). I’ll edit the description of the video to make it more clear
5.1.1? That’s a bit lower down my list. Not going to be assessed this year (see my advanced info video) but everything else tested this year (except module 6) is up
do qe have to know about ACFOR and how do we go about answering questions on. iodiversity because its quite hard to answer especially cause theyre asking for so many things
Don’t think ACFOR is listed on the spec. Tough to answer your second question. Perhaps try to memorise the spec points from this topic and try to think which spec point best relates to any biodiversity question
A line basically just measures whatever plant touches the tape measure whereas a belt has quadrats placed be t to the tape measure. Do be aware that sometimes people say line when they actually mean belt

Going to try and cover all the topics coming up this year by Easter - so far everything on Bio processes is up. Glad videos are helping

Thank you so much for all your videos they are awesome
can you post this blank mindmap & the 4.1 mindmap? thanks, also love your content!😁🙏
Hi, will you be doing a evolution and classification mindmap?

Thank you so much Mr Murray we love your videos. Will you be making any on module 5 and 6 year 2 stuff?
Thanks! Module 5 is all up. 6 coming soon
Do you plan on doing any videos/mindmaps on module 6? They would be very helpful!
Yes I do - will be trying to get 6.1 done in the next two weeks with 6.4 to follow after that
@@MrMurrayBiology Thank you very much!
Hi Mr Murray, would you be able to go over stem cells for 2.6 as im not sure its covered in that mindmap. thank you :)
Is this enough knowledge to learn from to do well in the exams?
I hope so because im literally doing an all nighter rn
love your videos! just a weird question, what app do you use to make mind maps?
Thanks! I’m using OneNote to do them and screenflow to record and edit
Do you have a video on populations and sustainability? :)
Talking about seed banks and nuclear wars aged well 😳
Hi Mr Murray! will you be making any videos on module 5.1?
5.1.1? That’s a bit lower down my list. Not going to be assessed this year (see my advanced info video) but everything else tested this year (except module 6) is up
Soo helpful😁

Hi, what's the difference between a belt and line transect? Thanks

Hi, would this video be suitable for people doing CAIE biology syllabus?
Yeah I’d say so - just read through the syllabus and it’s over 90% similar. Just make sure to read the specification for any extra bits
@@MrMurrayBiology That's great btw thankyou Mr.Murray for going an extra mile and checking over my syllabus
sir please can you put ecosystem topic in A2 ocr when you have time
Will try over Easter hols. Cloning and Biotech coming in next few days
do u only cover ocr board
At the moment. But may be doing some aqa content this year. Stay tuned
I am so screwed for the upcoming exam, but i'm speed running the last two years
