"I get results;" Mark Baker discusses his lessons and the best bowlers in the world

- A bunch of Minnesota bowlers are trying to add pins to their averages or perform better at tournaments after taking lessons from one of the best known coaches in the sport!
Mark Baker, who won four PBA Tour titles as a competitor in the late 80's and into 1990, has built up his repertoire as a top coach. Through both virtual and in-person lessons, he's built up bowlers around the globe.
In this interview, Baker discusses his coaching, his thoughts on today's PBA Tour, an idea that he believes would have built up a key PBA sponsorship years ago and how others can learn from him through virtual lessons.

I saw the dvd once. A lot of great stuff to consider in there!
Just had my 10th lesson this past Saturday. That's my coach. First time he said, you don't have to do the 2nd hour, because you are doing great. Will continue to go. He also has helped my mental game as well. By the way, I have been bowling for 30 years.

I saw Mark bowl at Ideal Lanes in upstate NY back in the 80’s true gentlemen and a great bowler finished 2nd to a guy throwing it straight off the gutter

Had a lesson with Mark about 10 years ago when I was a junior and it was the best hour and lesson I ever had. Worked on my approach and after that lesson, had better carry and my average went up 15-20 pins.

In most states I been to ..bowling centers are closed down due to lack of interest. Maybe you can do a video exploring this but from what I see now..even in Canada very few leagues are existing. Kids especially are addicted to their phones.. Maybe as a suggestion you can tie this into the drastic lack of top professionals in baseball basketball golf etc being from the USA. God bless🙏
