Jehovah's Witnesses view homosexuality as incompatible with their interpretation of the Bible. They believe that sexual relations should be confined to marriage between a man and a woman, based on their reading of biblical texts like Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1:26-27, which they interpret as condemning homosexual behavior. As a result, Jehovah's Witnesses consider homosexual acts to be sinful and do not endorse same-sex relationships.
While Jehovah's Witnesses teach that individuals with same-sex attraction should be treated with kindness and respect, they also emphasize that these individuals are expected to refrain from engaging in homosexual behavior if they wish to remain in good standing within the congregation. Those who persist in such behavior may face disciplinary actions, including disfellowshipping, which involves being shunned by the community until the person repents.
Despite these strict views, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that all people, regardless of sexual orientation, can seek forgiveness through repentance and change their ways to align with what they consider to be biblical principles.
