Idiots like Lance will never admit that. They HAVE to cling to the "defending property" argument because if they talk about what ACTUALLY happened in THIS CASE, they'll whole argument falls apart.
It is super simple, you stand in front of the property and you would have to harm me to harm my property. If you want to harm me to get to my property then imma put you down.
@@yaboyashh It's a straw man. Lefties don't think that boarders are imaginary and meaningless. Boarders are socially constructed (which is to say that they're human made) and they therefore obviously have real life effects on people and their behavior and even manifest themselves physically often times. Lefties say that because borders are socially constructed, they can be deconstructed as well (which is intuitively plausible since nation states as they exist today are an invention only a few hundred years old). Invented things are obviously real, though.
They are using every possible argument that involves not watching the actual video. Vausch had a debate with destiny on this and it came to light Vausch didn’t event watch the videos at all. He claimed Kyle was wildly shooting into crowds 20 feet away from him. Destiny asked if he watched the video and he said “Uhmm.. I think maybe... I might have seen it”. When destiny went to bring up the video to prove him wrong Vausch says “EVEN IF I WAS WRONG....” and went on about some other nonsense argument unrelating to what’s in the videos. From all that we know now, Kyle Rittenhouse put out a garbage fire with which the crowd tried to torch a gas station, that's when the first victim set upon him and chased him until he was finally shot by Kyle. Kyle then call someone and runs away as new people arrive and he is being chased again which led to the incidents we then saw on video.

I'm happy Rittenhouse was found not guilty because he wasn't guilty, but America is kinda already in chaos. I guess we're not as bad as Italy's justice system. Have you ever heard the story of Rudy Guede in 2008? Most people have never heard the name Rudy Guede before, but essentially he was a dude from the Ivory Coast who moved to Perugia Italy when he was 5. By the time he was 15 he was a known criminal by the Perugia police. Mostly for breaking & entering and assaults. On the night of November 1st 2007 Rudy Guede broke into Meredith Kercher house. He took a nasty shít in her toilet (didn't flush) then he waited for her to come home. When she arrived he viciously attacked her, he r@ped her & eventually murdered her by stabbing her with a knife that he brought. While stabbing her he cut his own hand and left a bloody hand print on her wall. Her roommate came home and saw some drops of blood on the floor but didn't think it was alarming even though it was odd. She noticed Merediths door was closed and locked so she assumed she was sleeping. After taking a shower she went to her boyfriends place. When they came back they noticed a widow was broken and they called the police. When the police got there they searched the house and eventually found Merediths life less body. The reason no one knows of Rudy Guede and this obvious slam dunk of a break in / murder is because her roommate was Amanda Knox!!!! The Italy district attorney totally fùckèd this case up because he believed some ridiculous wild sex and drug party gone wrong. Even though there was no evidence pointing at more than one killer Rudy Guede!!!
The Kyle Rittenhouse debate has become such the political litmus test. People still argue the “crossed state lines” and other points that are just wrong or irrelevant.
So let's run that down logically. Would you say if someone cut you off in traffic you could rape them? They were being belligerent so that tracks right? How about this, let's say you start building an addition on your house and your neighbor reports you for not having a permit could you sayyyyy enslave him or place him in an interment camp begin subjecting him to torture, degradation and inhumane treatment? What you are saying in either case is that someone deserved to get killed because of an action you deem belligerent. Think about that for a hot minute.
@@vedinthorn The definition of Belligerent is to act hostile or aggressive in both scenarios I just mapped for you they were acting both hostile and aggressive. And even though i technically grew up 10minutes of the road from “my town” aka where my parents lived vs where i went to middle school/ high school, where i spent 99% of my summers skateboarding the streets of, walking around that town with friends.. was in a band and wrote a song about one of the roads in this town. But i didn’t LIVE in this town, i lived in a neighboring borough. In communities where you have townships and boroughs so close together where people live township A but go to school and spend all their time their whole lives in borough B even if its 5-15 min away… that doesn’t make it any less of YOUR community. Also… i live on the boarder of 3 states. I can be 3 different in under 15 minutes. So the whole “he crossed state lines” and “it’s not his community” trigger the fuck out of me. Far from. Destiny said its moral to kill people over a saxophone, depending on how Destiny feels about that saxophone. Its beyond moronic. Its sociopathic.
Yeah but that's not uncommon in the US legal system is it? We charge 16, 17 year olds as adults all the damn time, it's fucked up, and shouldn't be the case, but that's just how stupid our legal system is.
@@Darkpara1 Kyle is not being charged with underage use of a firearm, he is being charge with non-permitted possession of a firearm. The reason for that is because he is not 18. Now the court can charge him as an adult and charge the gun owner for giving his weapon to a minor. Once prosecutors prove premed (given his social media and gloves), the adult charges will stick.
I come back and watch these debates. Especially with Serfs cuz he's an absolute buffoon. The people who argue the community aspect are just so far removed from reality. We had a fire nearly destroy a whole town a few years back, our town is over an hour away and there was such an outpouring of assistance it was unbelievable. Community is such a broad term and it broadens the more traumatic an event is. 9/11 brought the entire US together as a community. An alien invasion would bring the entire human race together as a community.
Thats most stupid argument I ever heard. And why then all these people protested George Floyd, none of them are his community by their definition. Wtf are they talking about? BLAX Idk why all these people are trying to shit on you. They are too stupid to see that you literally agree with them on this point. Everyside has their idiots, we found ours
Doesnt matter if he was defending the property, they were chasing him, a job for police if he did something bad. At that moment you don't know if it's lethal or not. A split second decision of not shooting would either lead to death or expensive hospital bill of being beaten by a mob. In a burning community with a violent mob, the chance of the outcome of being attacked by a mob being death/knocked out is pretty significant. Imagine your property you have put your blood sweat and tears for years be destroyed in 1 night by people you have never met and retaliating being a bad thing.
According to Vausch, you are required to lay down your weapon and submit yourself to the mob because the majority of time people survive the mob beating and only sometimes do they actually die. Even if you are 100% innocent you have to take the life threatening beating because the alternative is a guilty person shot dead. But the mob isn’t guilty somehow when they’re beating you up because they believe they are innocent
Destiny paraded so much around the "it's not his property" argument. Allowed the guy up top to pivot it into the concept of community, etc which made the whole thing way too abstract and arbitrary. It's irrelevant, if you concede that you're allowed to defend your property, as he did, then he should concede that bringing people over to even the numbers would be legitimate, you cannot really claim you support property defense if you're going to say "oh but only the 3 members of your family against these 200 rioters, otherwise it's foul", there'd be no defense. Same applies for the addition of guns, a force that is heavily outnumbered need guns as an equalizer, plus Antifa also brought guns, so, what kind of defense was he in favor of? Asking "pretty please don't burn my shop" is not defending property. So, with those things in mind, how can he ever question the legitimacy of Kyle being there? He was there because someone needed people to defend their property, he was trying so damn hard not to go the socialist route until the end of the debate, but it was such an easy dunk if only Destiny tried to clarify what the top guy understood as defending property.

@Chris Bartolini Serf made the clear moral argument on why not all property violations warrants a death sentence. He also conceded that there was a scenario in which Kyle could be morally justified using self defense. Its almost as if people in this comment section are too rigged in their individual belief systems to comprehend nuanced discussions that differ from their beliefs. Like when Serf said a saxophone is different than a pet, and should be treated as such. This is obvious to any rational person. But it seems that many right wingers believe its justified to murder someone who violates their property rights, no matter the property. No matter even if that property belongs to the murderer. No matter how far from the property the murder takes place. Lack of nuance is why Destiny lost the debate.
@Chris Bartolini All theft justifies death. Got it. I guess we don't scale indiscretions. So, if someone steals my flower pot, I am justified in brutally murdering the fuck out of them. Never mind winging their leg (which could still kill them). Nah, fuck that. Repeatedly shoot them. Make sure they are dead. Got it.
Nuance is not spinelessness. Serf even said their could be a scenario were Kyle was justified. Much like everything in the universe, there are no black/white. This is the main reason why right wingers are so easily driven to radicalization. Its the logical outcome of conservative belief systems.

(Hong Konger here.) 46:52 is an inaccurate description. I don't know whether he is dishonest or ill-informed: It's true that some small businesses were vandalized, but that's because those businesses are either pro-establishment or pro-China. (Hell some of the businesses like Mahjong clubs were literally ran by triad gangs which received CCP funding to beat up protesters last year. Of course they deserve to be burned and vandalized from a tactical perspective.) Protesters mostly target police stations and businesses with pro-establishment stances/ Chinese financial backgrounds. (Ps. Hong Kong pro-establishment factions are simply wicked. For instance, there was a pro-police doctor posted on his facebook saying he will fuck the protesters up and make sure they cannot move anymore if they come to him for medical treatments after clashing with the police.)
Why even debate about defending property? He didn't kill Rosenbaum because he was going to throw a brick though a window or light something on fire, he killed him cause he chased and cornered him and then lunged at him/tried to grab his gun. Why Rittenhouse was in Kenosha is completely irrelevant.
16:57 is a blatant lie they said he told them to get off of/ stop destroying cars. They never said he pointed a gun at them. The statement he made is an accusation of brandishing which is entirely different. As someone who grew up in the country hell my town was the community with the 5 or 6 neighbouring towns it was our community as a whole so I get what destiny is saying
No different than cracking your phone screen! That’s the problem with this debate. To even engage with Serfs, you have to already accept his ridiculous views of private property. And then you have to debate within the framework of how commies view property.
Does Serfs just have a rich family or something? The guy literally said he would let a random rioter burn down his business. I find it very hard to believe anyone who actually has to work for what they have would say something like that.
Do we know that for sure? The defense claims that, but they haven’t named the person who lent him the gun. I think it’s plausible, certainly, and taking a gun across state lines wouldn’t negate Kyle’s right to defend himself with lethal force. I’m just think it is too soon to say for sure where the gun originated.
griffmeister sr. That’s interesting. I mean, I assume the gun was lent to Kyle in Kenosha, because he didn’t have it with him in the photograph where he is cleaning graffiti earlier that day, but it’s still possible (if unlikely) that he drove back to WI to get the gun and then drove back again the IL. Have you seen anything about the prosecutor interviewing witnesses? I’m worried that the prosecutor is giving the rioters time to develop a story about Kyle actively threatening the rioters, in a way that will erode his self-defense claims.
@@cobrastriesand7693 It's common defense practice not to reveal who or exactly how many witnesses have been interviewed, that information is usually kept within the court during the duration of the investigation. It's also common for witnesses to speak on talk shows and news segments, too. Check out Tucker Carlson the day after it happened, an eye-witness gives his recollection. L. Lin Wood is one of Kyle's lawyers and he said (I'm paraphrasing) "Manufacturing facts under an already false accusation is a great way to get in trouble under the law of defamation." Lin Wood was the lawyer that represented The Covington Kid and settled multiple defamation suits. He also represented Richard Jewell after the '96 Olympic bombings. Kyle has the A Team of lawyers at his disposal👍
griffmeister sr. Right, I think if the case was being covered factually by actual journalists ala the OJ Simpson trial there would be probably be leaks from the different legal teams in the news, but as it is mostly being covered meta-politically, by opinion journalists, the only people trying to report facts seem to be RUclips spergs. Oh well. I’m sure Lin Wood is a good lawyer and much smarter than I am, but his Twitter is kinda incontinent for my tastes. If I were facing life in prison I wouldn’t want my lawyer going off the way he does.
46:40 Destiny's position here is a bit dubious. I'd be curious to know why he thinks it's not ok to destroy private property but it is to destroy public property. If you think about it, to the individuals that destroy public property, the percentage of value they paid for the items they destroy is usually going to be so tiny that it's hard to think that would be the reason why it's then ok for them to destroy it. What about the remaining 99.99% of "owners" who don't get to decide? Would it not be a transgression upon them?
I usually don't agree with destiny but after seeing this and his vaush debate he's gained a smidgen of respect and knows when to retstrain his politics for this once and grow some form of moral backbone.
No he's just a grifter. He'll throw a bone once in a while and debate people like Milo and Ian Miles Cheong but he's gotta differentiate himself somehow by also dunking on lefties. Guy knows he's losing views to the Chad Hasan so he's just being petty at this point. His audience is just confused at this point after the lefty arc
He's holding exactly the same centre-left beliefs he's always had, he just doesn't do the same dogpiling that the far left on twitch/youtube goes for. He argued pretty much the same exact thing a couple years back, about defending your home from burglars.
TheH0nestLiar no it’s more like destinys had similar centre left beliefs and positions for a while now, and sticks to those principles consistently whether he’s fighting leftists or right wingers. Also lmao Brocialist hasan who doesn’t pay his workers
Should ask him if he believes in having an army. Its technically the same idea that people gather from all across the country to defend land/property that isnt theirs from being destroyed/taken over.
Even if an individual would have the capability to remove the conditions by which property is so relevant to his happiness, would it be so unthinkable that he'd believe that has never worked anywhere? He's trying to pretend like if Socialism was the cure for property based violence, when it's a major catalist.
Serf said no such thing. He merely brought nuance to the discussion. Not all property is the same. Blanketing everything with equal property value goes to the saxophone/pet argument. If someone tries to destroy your saxophone, morally, deadly force should not be applied. Someone tries to murder your pet, morally, deadly force could be applied. That's all serf was saying.
So to him it doesn't matter if they just take small amounts of time off your life? Like I had to spend time to get money to buy a thing, someone took that thing from me, so the time I spent is now pointless and they have retroactively taken time off my life.
The thing that people need to understand is that if you punch a guy who's holding a gun... YOU have just started a gun fight _and you didn't even bring a knife._ There's an old adage: "In a fistfight the winner goes home and the loser goes to the hospital. In a gunfight the winner goes home and the loser goes to the morgue. In a knife fight the winner goes to the hospital and the loser goes to the morgue." Don't fight people with knives either.
I wholeheartedly disagree in regards to morals vs. law. This situation will set a precedent for subsequent cases and its EXTREMELY important that due process and justice is upheld.

LOL, that is such a bad take on him. I guess we all got to pay our hospital bills if they attacked us.
So, with those things in mind, how can he ever question the legitimacy of Kyle being there? edit: 25 minutes in and he keeps doing it. Im done lol.
Welcome to the modern leftist school of thought. 🤪
Nuance is not goal post shifting.
Jay Millzz ahahahahahahaha “nuance”
Got it.
The guy up top stands for nothing. His idealogy changes like the wind. He spent the whole hour dancing around subjects. Spineless.
He's probably buying time for views. Not sure he can even get a cow status, since he's so dense.
Nuance is not spinelessness. Serf even said their could be a scenario were Kyle was justified. Much like everything in the universe, there are no black/white. This is the main reason why right wingers are so easily driven to radicalization. Its the logical outcome of conservative belief systems.
@@MillzTheAthlete His justified scenario was the most specific what if scenario that he had to have his arm twisted into agreeing to. If nuance was him actually agreeing to nothing, commiting to nothing, the sure he's full of nuance.
The problem with these rioters and the cowards that justify them is when there is a point that invalidates your chaos you stammer and stutter your way out of it. Kill time by driving the opposing view to exhaustion deflecting and diverting the conversation.
Serf spent an hour saying nothing. A cowards dance.
@@MillzTheAthlete Nuance? More like: A nonce doing mental gymnastics through a contrarian maze; where hypocrisy, willful ignorance, and vying for the slightest validation of the greatly one-sided moral question of this real young man's right to self defense. The tribalistic exercise of defeating morality for validation of your "side" is the most terrifying foundation of a ruthless totalitarian state.
@@staleezy Redefining nuance to be the caricature you purport doesn't prove anything.
“NAZI’S CAN DEFEND PROPERTY TOO!” - Destiny Hot-takes 2020!
#DestinyIsBasedConfirmed
Nazi's have rights too. We all have rights. But we don't have the right to infringe upon the rights of other citizens. That includes all these unlawful scummy protests
"It's case dependent..." - I think he meant to say 'race', not 'case'.
It literally took this guy @30:54 to answer one question from destiny lol the patience destiny has is insane.
But i still am asking... why chase a guy with an AR
Hey, kyle was running towards the police. Why didn't they let him if they thought he committed a crime so the cops could deal with him?
Vigilante justice. The whole protest is about we don't trust the police. He shot at people, hit people and walked away. Not justifying them doing it but its pretty clear why they did it.
@@johnappleseed8146 so why did they start messing with Kyle and why case him down after you think he shot someone? Other than vigilant justice
@@jbthecook Why other than lol they thought he did something really bad and wanted to be the ones who beat his ass not the police. Clearly didn't work out. Clearly not planned. Chasing someone with a rifle after they just shot someone whether accidental or not isnt good for your health. Scared ppl with guns will pull that trigger everytime. And honestly he probably had good reason to be scared for his life. When ppl are chasing you without a weapon knowing you have a weapon, they arent in the best frame of mind.
Didn't the police let him walk away? He left the scene and went home.
@@sonneh88 the police were going to were people were saying people were shot. That's why they asked are you wounded? He said no so they left he was not a threat and they had to get to the threat. It's called an investigation they have to look into what he said if it's true or not. Otherwise anyone can walk in with any story out there and what the police just say "O ok if you say so we'll go get em."
I noticed since this video and the overall debate of Rittenhouse, that folks like Serfs aren't in these spaces anymore or at least I haven't seen much of him
It’s amazing how many facts Surfs got wrong 🤦♂️
Kyle was initially being chased for putting out dumpster fires using a fire extinguisher.
He was being chased because he stopped their attempt to burn down a gas station.
Lance is so off topic. He didnt shoot a guy coming up to the gas station. The guy was coming FOR HIM. The whole self defense over property argument does not even apply.
People don't steal during riots because they're oppressed; it's because the opportunity is there.
The state line thing is the dumbest part. Tons of parents separate and stay close to each other for the kid and the kid is part of both communities.
I usually hate destiny but WOW he had a good take on this one
When you are subscribed to that many conservatives, that doesn't really tell me much.
When you chop away all the twitter aguments (state lines, protecting property, etc) that lance conceded to one by one, all he has is "I dont feel like he should have done that." Which, to be fair, is pretty hard to argue.
I suddenly care deeply about borders
Once I hear anyone start with “he crossed state lines” you have lost the plot
5 years ago I hated destiny. I disagree with him on about half of what he says even until today but man am I glad Destiny is holding his ground and destroying these false idols of the left. Seriously someone has to do it and Destiny basically gave these losers space to have a platform in the first place, they all kind of worship him and it is great to watch them lose their glimmer when their hero looks down on them.
He got the firearm there.
Still illegal since he is 17. Gun owner will get charged as well.
funniest shit in the world is when serf owned himself with his own take 37:20
(Hong Konger here.) 46:52 is an inaccurate description.
Destiny is slowly becoming based
Or youre just realizing that dude can in fact have good faith arguments. Im not a fan of him on some issues. But he's dead on with this one.
I mean he's not really changing at all, he's held this belief for a while and is pretty consistent in what he believes.
Destiny has always believed this. Most of his opinions are based dude you just have to watch some more of his debates
@@maxcleghorn woah now. "Most" is too much credit lmao
Why even debate about defending property? He didn't kill Rosenbaum because he was going to throw a brick though a window or light something on fire, he killed him cause he chased and cornered him and then lunged at him/tried to grab his gun. Why Rittenhouse was in Kenosha is completely irrelevant.
Exactly. He defended the gas station with a fire extinguisher. He defended himself against people who were mad about that, with his AR
I've been impressed with destiny, he is a very focused debater/speaker
16:57 is a blatant lie they said he told them to get off of/ stop destroying cars. They never said he pointed a gun at them. The statement he made is an accusation of brandishing which is entirely different.
Also if you burn my house down and just say "well its just property" when I have mementos from deceased family members that will never be able to replaced in my household then yeah I have major problems with whatever your stance is
I wonder if TheSerfsTV thinks it was a bad thing for George Orwell to go to Spain to fight in their civil war
Hey Covid thanks I needed this for work
As someone who grew up in the country hell my town was the community with the 5 or 6 neighbouring towns it was our community as a whole so I get what destiny is saying
The title to this video is so true.
This Destiny redemption arc is the best thing to come out of 2020.
The hilarious part is how off and wrong the serfs was when framing the Rittenhouse event and Destiny was like well close enough 🤣
I thought the EXACT same thing. Destiny was way too nice in this debate. Lance was being a disingenuous scumbag.
@Jesse Stevenson "was being" is pretty nice lol i think he just is at this point
RGR came out of this looking like a dig dummy too.
I’m pretty sure she eventually made a video saying that Destiny was right on the Kyle Rittenhouse debate, it was way before the trial too I think.
according to serfs a business that takes years and tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to build up is "an Item."
Ofc he does. All "socialists" do. They're e-grifters that get paid by Amazon and have never had a real labor job.
He says he did a deep dive into this issue yet he still doesn't know that the gun never crossed state lines.
@@cobrastriesand7693 The serial number on the gun goes back to an owner in Wisconsin, according to the defense.
griffmeister sr.
I think that calling this guy a moron is a terrible disservice and very unfair to morons.
I usually don't agree with destiny but after seeing this and his vaush debate he's gained a smidgen of respect and knows when to retstrain his politics for this once and grow some form of moral backbone.
Is Destiny becoming BASED AND REDPILLED™?
No, he’s just not a communist.
lefties are getting more and more retarded its making destiny look conservative
Destiny doing the lord's work right now lol
Is it okay if I go stack sandbags when a town an hour away is having bad flooding? Or am I sticking my nose where it doesn't belong?
The thing that people need to understand is that if you punch a guy who's holding a gun... YOU have just started a gun fight _and you didn't even bring a knife._
There's an old adage: "In a fistfight the winner goes home and the loser goes to the hospital. In a gunfight the winner goes home and the loser goes to the morgue. In a knife fight the winner goes to the hospital and the loser goes to the morgue."
Don't fight people with knives either.
I wholeheartedly disagree in regards to morals vs. law. This situation will set a precedent for subsequent cases and its EXTREMELY important that due process and justice is upheld.
Morality shapes law, law doesn't shape morality
So weird seeing Destiny being on the correct side of an issue lol
