I've just been obsessing over how blessed these Korean girls in Kdramas have that hair where they can just run their fingers through without messing their hair up
Me: *brushes hair for a week with no sleep and it is perfect* *2 seconds later* Me: * moves hair behind ear and all of it is tangled with huge nots again*
OMG SAMEE, so many strands come out of my hair and also even after brushing it, when I wash it my fingers can’t go through it, I absolutely hate my hair, it’s so thick and if I condition my hair then it gets greasy super fast and my hair is ALWAYS frizzy after showers anyway so there’s no hope for me
The thing with my curly hair even If it was brushed out perfectly it still manages to get tangled, even my mom doesn't believe me when I say I actually brushed it.
Curly hair can definitely be a lot harder to work with! Sometimes doing hairstyles like braids can help - check out our section on the Blog on hairstyles you can do on curly hair, if you're interested :) xo www.luxyhair.com/search?type=article&view=blog&q=curly+hair
no one me: doesn’t use any heat on hair, washes it with extra conditioner, rises with cold water, does hair mask 2 times a week. my hair: i still want to be tangled
It could be the conditioner. I stopped using conditioner because while it may seem nice and silky when wet, dry is a different story. Conditioner doesn't come off as easily as Shampoo so it must be sticking to the hair and when it dries, the residue is the culprit for tangles. There are too many brands of Conditioner so I ain't gonna bother with the stupid stuff.
@@yeetfleet2617 Did it work? Because I started using conditioner again because someone else on here said to comb it in and leave it in for bit (2min?) and it totally made a big difference with my hair. I could easily comb and brush my hair like a hot knife through butter.
My tips are: 1.Make sure you rinse out all the shampoo out of your hair before conditioning leftover shampoo can dry out and damage your hair. 2.when you put the conditioner in your hair brush it in. 3.Put your hair in a bun or don't rinse it out right away this will make your hair shine. 4.When drying start from roots to ends also make sure it you don't dry too roughly. 5.Continue doing this and it will make a big difference.
Ok, natural blonde, never use heat, really long hair, I condition like a champ, use cold water to rinse, and boom.. rats nest in five minutes, every time.
Wearing your hair in a braid or a bun prevents having to brush your hair throughout the day. I spent time thoroughly combing my hair in the morning, put in a braid, and that style is set for the whole day. I know braids and buns are not always as popular as loose styles, but these are the number one way to prevent tangles.

I found out about separating the knots with your fingers from you and it has really helped. every time my hair would get uncontrollable, I would start by getting the knots apart then brushing. This method is faster and helped reduce my hair loss while brushing. And is a bit less painful. thank you !
Finally an honest video on preventing tangled hair. All of these tips have been regularly shared with me with my mom and grandma (who have beautiful hair even today) but I was too lazy to follow them. I was waiting for some lazy hack all this while but after this video I am more likely to follow through on these tips
You can try a detangling haircut. It is done with a open scissor run through out the hair length strand by strand. It makes hair pretty much less prone to tangles. Does wonders for me and makes hair manageable for at least a month. Best part is that no one even notices that the hair has been cut as the length and volume remains the same.
Do you guys know about those small hair shop stalls that give you free stuff at a mall as you pass and sometimes perform their ironers on your hair? This lady would not let me leave and I had no choice but to sit on the damn chair and when she brushed my hair she said, "You don't brush your hair? Why you no brush hair? You is lazy or you busy?" i brush my hair for 30minutes to an hour
Well that could be why it is breaking and knotting if you brush your hair too often it can split dry ends. Pretty sure ego Malibu up there just rambled this off from wikihow.....
Been growing my hair out for a mullet war with my buddy, will have to try all these steps cause long hair when fine is soooo painfull! Thanks to this beautiful girl hope it goes wellllllllll⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
I had thick hair, now with times and hell of tangles they became thin, I can't even leave my hair if so it won't take even a second to tangle again 😭 I lost large amount of my hair in less time, now I can't afford losing more ,I ll be bald then 😥
As someone with looser curls and very fine hair, I don’t have the option of brushing my hair throughout the day - it will ruin my curl pattern near the top of my head. However, virtually no curl on the hairs in the very back near my neck…… it gets super tangled throughout the day. When I am detangling my hair I do it wet, am very gentle and use a wide tooth comb from bottom to top.
Hands down the best way of achieving tangle free, smooth hair for me was keratin straightening. Whenever I get it done my hair stays manageable for weeks, even when it starts curling again it is much healthier, tangles less and looks better. Using SLS free shampoos and conditioners has also helped me. Usually I have very dry, frizzy and hair that tangles in a few seconds. Getting keratin straightening, though pricey definitely gives at least 4-5 month results if cared for properly. Nothing else I have ever tried (and there has been a lot of stuff) has worked as well as that does. I'd recommend anyone to give it a try. I eventually just learned how to do it myself, though time consuming going through the entire process the outcome is so worth it and you can save a lot of money doing it yourself.
For me a silk bonnet has been the best way to keep my hair tangle free at night. I have always had a problem with ratsnests. But with enough patience and layers i could manage. But then i had ghe idea to grow all my hair out for a rupunzle style braid for my wedding that we still dont have a date for yet. So I now have butt length hair that is all one length. Using hard bristle brushes have added so many micro layers. I would simply give up and just go to the salon to have them detangle my hair. I have a ton of hair. It has a slight wave to it when drys natural. Things then that have greatly helped: 1. Silk bonnets for sleeping. I didnt like how my hair would get the braid crimps, or I would be lazy and not brush my hair out of the braids so I'd have ratsnests from the hair that fell out of the braids. Now i wash my hair 7-14 days, and brush 3-4 days. 2. Knot doctor wet dry brush: this has been the best brush for me. The bristles are super flexible and really help. I also manually break up my knots with my fingers into smaller chunks by following the cosplay wig detangle tutorial of creating a y shape with the knot and then pulling the knot down the bottom of the y and of the hair.
@@laurennotreal I miss my layers cause it made it a lot less hair to get a brush through and made my hair lighter so it didn't hang out with itself as much. I would still get rats nests but what was before I had my silk bonnet. The rats nests I get now are from ponytails or waiting too long between brushing instead of the back of my neck. I haven't had layers with my super long hair (butt length vs armpit length) so I can't say for certain if it would help or not.
another tip for detangling: BE PATIENT! i get so frustrated and just want to cry when i have alot of tangles. just take a moment, breathe, clear the mind, get a drink of water maybe, and continue detangling
My hair always gets tangled in the shower while I’m trying to wash it. I wish I could grow it out long, but I also don’t want to spend 2 hours or longer in the shower every time I need to wash it.
I have really long thin hair and it’s so annoying having to untangle it all of the time! But your hacks really worked I have 2 MASSIVE nots in my hair and your techniques worked so tysm!
*talks about her tangles* me: “umm her supposedly tangled hair is what mine looks like after 30 mins of brushing. Big tangles r the ones sized like baseballs”
I use It's A 10 Miracle Lite Leave In Detangler. It works better than any detangler I have tried. And I have tried many detanglers. I have fine hair to my waist that tangles easily. So I was happy to have finally learn about It's A 10 Miracle Lite.
I wish that I could brush my hair throughout the day without making it crazy. I have just a little bit of natural curl, very long hair, and I’m blonde. So when I brush my hair it just looks frizzy and horrible. I sleep with my hair in a bun on top of my head just fastened with two very tiny metal clips and that seems to work great for overnight. Thanks for the tips!
Hi beautiful, how about brushing with a wide tooth comb and applying some hair oil throughout the day? Thanks for sharing how you tie up your hair while you sleep xo
My daughter has straight, medium thickness hair but it tangles like crazy. She recently got her hair straightened at a sleepover and we found that her hair didn't tangle as much while it was straightened. Why??
im a guy with a very long hair and i had to learn the hard way to maintain it because for us thers not much info out there haha so thanks for this videos i really apreciate them
I have curly hair and everytime I detangle it, it looks sooooo frizzy and puffy. It usually takes me between 45 minutes and an 1 hour just to detangle it and I always end up super exhausted.
Holy supermodel. I started relating to this when I grew my hair out, and I have somewhat think, wavy to curly-ish hair that tends to show more of a pattern at the end a than along the shaft or closer to the roots. I hate it because it doesn't look good at all, needless to say, but I do notice the friction when sleeping is a huge problem. These are some good tips, but brushing I'd have to say is a big no, especially if you're trying to maintain a certain curl pattern. I don't find anything too bad about de-tangling in the shower as long as you drench it in conditioner and loosen it gradually, much like you showed at the end, with my fingers and a wide tooth comb.
I don't have curly hair, but I have really fine hair like you do. My hair is probably about the same length... I find the best way is to shampoo my hair, and then put conditioner in it... I let the conditioner sit for 2 or 3 minutes and then detangle it before I rinse. It helps a lot and saves on soooo much frustration!
Don't give us on brushing! It's important to maintain and do daily to ensure that your hair is tangle-free. Try a deep conditioning treatment as it may help reduce the tangles. 💗
I would recommend to try to shampoo it less, and use hair oil while detangling with a wide tooth comb or your fingers (not a brush). You can also try to make sure that every time you shower, use a TON of conditioner and gently pull apart the knots with your fingers! Let me know if you find out any other tips for thick and curly hair (because mine is the opposite!) xo Liliya
I found using Infusium leave-in conditioner works amazing for both of your problems. Using the spray after you've gently towel dried your hair spritz all over, work through a bit with your hands, you can use a lot of you feel you need to it does not leave hair oily. Then use the techniques she described to untangle your hair and brush out. When your hair dries it will seem stiff but it's not just brush or run your fingers through again and it will be soft and shiny. I've found it also makes a great de-tangler on dry hair. Some will say it's only for black kinky hair, not true at all. I had fine, blonde, permed hair when I used it.
Im literally crying because my hair gets tangled easily and some ppl don’t get their hair tangled like I brush my hair, a second later, I move my head 1 inch and it gets big tangled 😭😭😭😭
My hair is very thick but my hair is medium length. I get jelly when i see people like whipping their hair around and it still look perfect! This really helped ! Thx!!!
The oil your scalp produces is healthy for your strands, love. You will want to minimize how much you wash your hair to help maintain its moisture and health. Washing your hair 1-3 times weekly is ideal 💗
I tried to de tangle once a day because when I de tangle my hair , a lot of hairfall is there. But after this video I got a few ideas to detangle safely. Thanks!
Silk bonnets are great for straight hair as well. Once I started using mine MONTHS ago, I saw a big difference in my hair within weeks. It wasn't frizzy, it was was less tangled in the morning, and it was comfortable for me. I even put my hair in a bonnet when I'm not sleeping, just to get it out of my face. My hair is nearly 4 ft long and i have reallyyyy thick hair so elastics and hair clips hardly ever work
Other people: Let's do our hair before bath Me: Thick curly tangly hair Brushing hair: Before bath In bath After bath Thank goodness In morning hair goes crazy
I have to blow dry my hair every time after I wash it because my hair holds water for ages. If I don’t blow dry it I have to wait for like 6hours before my hair is dry but it also makes my head very itchy if I leave it wet. I wish I could just run my hands through my hair after brushing it but I brush it and then in the next 2 secs it’s already tangled
I have had long here down of the middle of my back for over 30 plus years. I have used a Big tooth come either with a handle or without I prefer the without And I comb my hair 2-3 times a day either with just my fingers or the come I always come before I take a shower during the shower as I'm rinsing out I'll flip my hair forward so that it's hanging in front of my face and I finger through it then To help get out any snuggles or loose hairs that maybe causing any tangling I also used detangler solution either Johnson and Johnson Any other brand works you may find it mainly in with the little girl section but it works for everyone I have only had issues with the long hair when I get spiral perms. But I have noticed that with the Routine brushing and the Managing of my hair in the shower tons to really help with or without perm So good luck hope these tips help and I enjoyed your video thank you
I brush my hair in the morning when I wake up very gently and I brush my hair after before shower too and I brush my hair before sleeping I like it open while sleeping it really helps. Helpful video 👍🏼
Can you make a video on diy hair masks and how to apply them properly? Also, this video was made very well and really helpful! I have hair like yours too: a lot of hair but the individual strands are fine and thin.

I swear, while I'm home I can take a 3 hour nap, run, take a shower, and roll on the ground for 10 minutes and it doesn't tangle. But if I go outside after brushing my hair it tangles instantly.
I can’t even see it, but while I look at the mirror after brushing my hair thoroughly I see frizzy bits of hair on my ends and i gets so damn frustrated! Is this a sign of unhealthy hair or is it considered normal for thick hair?
My mum had long hair. She told me to detangle hair with fingers before using comb. Also to tie my hair before sleeping. And to comb hair multiple times. You said everything. 😁 I used to use brush but I gave up on it and now I use neem wood comb. It's better than the plastic brushes. 😁
i have REALLY thick and wavy hair (it’s also rlly uneven) and usually i won’t notice a knot and by day it gets bigger and bigger and then eventually it makes its way up to the root of my head so taking it out is literally hell.
I have school so brushing my hair in class while also trying not to get in trouble is super hard but I did start sleeping with my hair up and it made a big change!!! :D I also started brushing my hair before showers and it helped so much!
i have had my hair dyed for about 3 years now and just now i have a HUGE rats nest i need to get out by vacation a.k.a in 3 days can you give me any tips? My hair is thick but straight and whenever i brush my hair 10 miniutes later it has noughts.
I sleep with braid never keep hair open hair is always oiled just i dont use conditioner and hair mask but i quit heat always my hair still so tangled one day my comb broke coz of my tangled hair
It doesn't matter how many times I brush my hair- it always looks a mess and tangles, so I wear it up in a bun EVERY DAY. I went and had my hair layered in hopes that would help- I live in SW FL so the humidity doesn't help at all. Thank you for the tips. I'm going to try the coconut oil and honey tomorrow morning before I shower- thank you again- and if you have any tips on how to stop hair from frizzing in the FL humidity please let me know- thanx
Background info:I used to have perfect hair but then I moved to the UK. Gradually,my hair started to be tangled. I tried every method described above and figured that it is simply the hardness of water. Get ur shower head a filter and problem solved.
Thank you so much for this video. I looked up this topic on here hoping I'd find a video like this. It's always been so embarrassing and frustrating to me that still as a grown up my hair gets so tangled so often. I feel better now-Thanks!
My hair is really thick and long, but every hair strand is thin. One thing that I love is wrapping it in a kardoune when I am home. It keeps the hair untangled and straighter than when I braid it. My hair also feels so soft when it is unwrapped.
Gosh.. looking up hair stuff is so frustrating. Like its always a long list of vaugue what ifs to try and prevent or some product that may or may not work. Where do i go to get actual personalized advice about a specific topic? Do i need to book a salon appointment? Some kind of hair docter?
You can gently brush your hair with a wide tooth comb. It should be easy to comb through since you've already detangled it. If there are still tangles, then try to get them out very gently with a wide tooth comb while the hair is still wet. If no success, just wait until the hair dries and then follow the method mentioned in this video :) xo

I know it seems really weird but just do it this will help you a lot
If it isn't combing at all try oil ( preferably coconut) it's really good for untangling your hair plus it also helps it from becoming dry
2) wash your hair twice
This will get out the oil really well
3) use tons of conditioner
In the shower comb the conditioner thru your lenghts
If your hair is literally the worst try using some aloe Vera on that area
Comb it thru
And wash it
And for the really big knots use a toothbrush ( a one that you haven't ever used and don't plan on using , keep it for your hair only.)
This will not pull your hair like a hairbrush , the bristles will gently sperate each strand of hair
Hope this helps you guys out
I know how hard it is to brush your hair but it is really important
Brush your hair thrice a day
I just untangles my hair which was in such a bad condition
I know it hurts but self grooming is important
Plus if you don't brush your hair you might get lice , dandruff and hairloss problems

I have really long thin hair and it’s so annoying having to untangle it all of the time! But your hacks really worked I have 2 MASSIVE nots in my hair and your techniques worked so tysm!
That's fantastic to hear, love! Thank you for sharing 💗
*talks about her tangles* me: “umm her supposedly tangled hair is what mine looks like after 30 mins of brushing. Big tangles r the ones sized like baseballs”
Have any of these techniques helped you? 💗
I use It's A 10 Miracle Lite Leave In Detangler. It works better than any detangler I have tried. And I have tried many detanglers. I have fine hair to my waist that tangles easily. So I was happy to have finally learn about It's A 10 Miracle Lite.
She is so helpful! Like leaving the time stamps! Love her ♥️
We're so happy to hear that this was helpful to you. Thanks for your love.💗
It took me 45 minutes to do this method and the results were boooom!! Success!!!!! Thanksss much muchhh
Yay! 💗
Did your hair got tangle free?
I wish that I could brush my hair throughout the day without making it crazy. I have just a little bit of natural curl, very long hair, and I’m blonde. So when I brush my hair it just looks frizzy and horrible. I sleep with my hair in a bun on top of my head just fastened with two very tiny metal clips and that seems to work great for overnight. Thanks for the tips!
Hi beautiful, how about brushing with a wide tooth comb and applying some hair oil throughout the day? Thanks for sharing how you tie up your hair while you sleep xo
Luxy Hair Yup! I do both. Couldn’t be without hair oil!
My daughter has straight, medium thickness hair but it tangles like crazy. She recently got her hair straightened at a sleepover and we found that her hair didn't tangle as much while it was straightened. Why??
im a guy with a very long hair and i had to learn the hard way to maintain it because for us thers not much info out there haha so thanks for this videos i really apreciate them
My son has long hair, and he’s 4, so the care falls to me, and I’m teaching him obviously. I struggle so much with his tangles!
I have curly hair and everytime I detangle it, it looks sooooo frizzy and puffy. It usually takes me between 45 minutes and an 1 hour just to detangle it and I always end up super exhausted.
We feel ya, Maria. Hang in there! 💗
Thanks mam,I think it will help my sister a lot🙏🙏
I hope so too! xo Liliya
Very HELPFUL 6:41 Video!!! Learned some Really Helpful Tips. Thank You So Much:))))
I have thin hair and straight hair but my hair is so tangled that i give up on brushing
Don't give us on brushing! It's important to maintain and do daily to ensure that your hair is tangle-free. Try a deep conditioning treatment as it may help reduce the tangles. 💗
Her hair (and her) is so pretty and healthy...imma cry
My hair is curly and thick so brushing it just ruins everything! Can you suggest something for the same ?
Also loved the vid ♥️
I would recommend to try to shampoo it less, and use hair oil while detangling with a wide tooth comb or your fingers (not a brush). You can also try to make sure that every time you shower, use a TON of conditioner and gently pull apart the knots with your fingers! Let me know if you find out any other tips for thick and curly hair (because mine is the opposite!) xo Liliya
Luxy Hair Thank you so much ! Love your videos ♥️
Check out some channels specifically for curly hair types.
I had fine, blonde, permed hair when I used it.
yes Literally when I was trying to brush the tangles of my hair the brush got a tuck in my hair the tangle was 5 inches wide and 5 inches long
Im literally crying because my hair gets tangled easily and some ppl don’t get their hair tangled like I brush my hair, a second later, I move my head 1 inch and it gets big tangled 😭😭😭😭
Same situation here 🤦♀️
My hair is very thick but my hair is medium length. I get jelly when i see people like whipping their hair around and it still look perfect! This really helped ! Thx!!!
We're so happy to hear that this was helpful to you. Enjoy! 💗
I face this problem😢always...my is too thick n i can't manage it myself....but I love my hair
Hi love! try some of these tips out and let me know if they work for you ;) xo Liliya
Luxy Hair thanks liliya mam😊
Hi! Just a question but how often is it recommended to shower? I shower every 2 days, is it healthy because my hair is slightly heavy
The oil your scalp produces is healthy for your strands, love. You will want to minimize how much you wash your hair to help maintain its moisture and health. Washing your hair 1-3 times weekly is ideal 💗
@@LuxyHair thank you so much! I was about to shower but I guess it’s postponed to tomorrow!
The worst thing about my hair is that I can never have my hair down it always has to be braided and that's awful
I tried to de tangle once a day because when I de tangle my hair , a lot of hairfall is there. But after this video I got a few ideas to detangle safely. Thanks!
We're delighted to hear that this was helpful. 💗
I feel like the more I try to take care of or fix my hair the worst it gets😭
Edit:......I cut my hair off...
My hair is nearly 4 ft long and i have reallyyyy thick hair so elastics and hair clips hardly ever work
Its not the same without mimi
for #6 you said rinse your hair with cold water, would showering in cold water help or does there have to be a change in temperature?
Other people:
Let's do our hair before bath
Me:
Thick curly tangly hair
Brushing hair:
Before bath
In bath
After bath
Thank goodness
In morning hair goes crazy
I have to blow dry my hair every time after I wash it because my hair holds water for ages. If I don’t blow dry it I have to wait for like 6hours before my hair is dry but it also makes my head very itchy if I leave it wet. I wish I could just run my hands through my hair after brushing it but I brush it and then in the next 2 secs it’s already tangled
Yes 100% relatable
I normally end up having to get the scissors out! 😢
Me too 😢
Yup my mom is going to cut my hair today 😵😭
LMAO same
I have had long here down of the middle of my back for over 30 plus years. But I have noticed that with the Routine brushing and the Managing of my hair in the shower tons to really help with or without perm So good luck hope these tips help and I enjoyed your video thank you
RICE WATER IS AMAZING!!!!! let it ferment 1 day and even better!! amino acids
What do you do with it exactly? Do you just pour it over your head in the shower?
I brush my hair in the morning when I wake up very gently and I brush my hair after before shower too and I brush my hair before sleeping I like it open while sleeping it really helps.
Helpful video 👍🏼
Thank you for reaching out and sharing, Kavita! 💗
@@LuxyHair omg thankyou so much 😍🙏you are really helpful and sweet person.
What’s your hair colour? It’s so beautiful 😍
Thank you! Chocolate Brown :) xo
Depending on hair type. Mine is thin. I've noticed if i don't brush my hair wet and let it dry I won't have tangles
We all love chips,
But take this tip,
Eat protein foods,
For good hair moods.
sry i was bored
Nicee👍🏼
This makes sense actually
I have really long and thic hair and every time my hair gets tangled and it sleek so thank you
Can you make a video on diy hair masks and how to apply them properly? Also, this video was made very well and really helpful! I have hair like yours too: a lot of hair but the individual strands are fine and thin.
Hi beautiful! Thank you for your feedback - we sincerely appreciate it. In the meantime, please take a look at our DIY coconut oil mask video (bit.ly/haircoconutmask) and our blog post about 5 DIY masks (bit.ly/luxy5diymasks). xo
Thank you sister for the expert female advice for a brother in need of it. HalleluYAH!
Hello there! 💗
Missing Mimi
Ahh me too

Thanks for the feedback, love! We're glad you enjoyed 💗
I have to braid it too so it doesn't get tangled :(
Yarii Iglecias sameee
Yess!! Best thing to do
Best info I've seen yet...and I've watched alot of videos on detangleing long hair. I hate brushing my hair!!! But will more from now on!
Wow, that's great to hear! 💗
With my curly hair I take a shower then two hours later it is tangled again.
I'd love to see if any other curly haired girls out there have any tips for this? Let us know xo
sameee
I swear, while I'm home I can take a 3 hour nap, run, take a shower, and roll on the ground for 10 minutes and it doesn't tangle. But if I go outside after brushing my hair it tangles instantly.
💗💗
Wtf I am a boy and if I stand for 1 minute in the air my hair is tangled whaaaattttt
Same expect I'm a girl
Lol om The only fkng guy here to
make that two
I can’t even see it, but while I look at the mirror after brushing my hair thoroughly I see frizzy bits of hair on my ends and i gets so damn frustrated! Is this a sign of unhealthy hair or is it considered normal for thick hair?
This sounds like split ends, love! We recommend regular trims to avoid these, and hair oil to help tame frizz. 💗
@@LuxyHair Again, thanks!
Where is Mimi ?
Hi Annelie, you can follow Mimi on her RUclips channel here ;) ruclips.net/user/mimiikonn xo Liliya
My mum had long hair. She told me to detangle hair with fingers before using comb. Also to tie my hair before sleeping. And to comb hair multiple times.
You said everything. 😁
I used to use brush but I gave up on it and now I use neem wood comb. It's better than the plastic brushes. 😁
My hair tangles alot I use a shirt to dry my hair no heat
That's a great tip! Towels can be so rough on the hair. Thank you for sharing xo
Question: Is it okay to gently detangle your chlorine-filled matted hair in the shower with a wet brush a ton of conditioner in it?
Sounds fine! Please give this a try and see how it goes. 💗
Oh okay, that's what I've been doing. Thanks!
i have REALLY thick and wavy hair (it’s also rlly uneven) and usually i won’t notice a knot and by day it gets bigger and bigger and then eventually it makes its way up to the root of my head so taking it out is literally hell.
I have school so brushing my hair in class while also trying not to get in trouble is super hard
but I did start sleeping with my hair up and it made a big change!!! :D
I also started brushing my hair before showers and it helped so much!
whats the point of conditioner if you dentsngle your hair before going in the shower?
When you do hair mask should you do it before or after you shower or should your hair be wet or damp
Before you shampoo and condition your hair! 💗
i have had my hair dyed for about 3 years now and just now i have a HUGE rats nest i need to get out by vacation a.k.a in 3 days can you give me any tips? My hair is thick but straight and whenever i brush my hair 10 miniutes later it has noughts.
I have really curly hair that makes it really tangled and it’s very dry
I sleep with braid never keep hair open hair is always oiled just i dont use conditioner and hair mask but i quit heat always my hair still so tangled one day my comb broke coz of my tangled hair
Hi love, we're sorry to hear you're having trouble with tangles! Please email us at info@luxyhair.com - we'd love to share some tips 💗
Even as a man, I can relate to this, not to mention this helped a lot
So you are not suppose to use thick towel to dry your hair ?
It doesn't matter how many times I brush my hair- it always looks a mess and tangles, so I wear it up in a bun EVERY DAY. I went and had my hair layered in hopes that would help- I live in SW FL so the humidity doesn't help at all. Thank you for the tips. I'm going to try the coconut oil and honey tomorrow morning before I shower- thank you again- and if you have any tips on how to stop hair from frizzing in the FL humidity please let me know- thanx
Hang in there, Serena. How did it go? 💗
Yes. Thanks for your ideas
Background info:I used to have perfect hair but then I moved to the UK. Gradually,my hair started to be tangled. I tried every method described above and figured that it is simply the hardness of water. Get ur shower head a filter and problem solved.
no wayyyyyyyyyy! need to try this
its the most useful video ever for me 🙌🙌.. thanks a lot 🙏
Thank you so much for this video. I looked up this topic on here hoping I'd find a video like this. It's always been so embarrassing and frustrating to me that still as a grown up my hair gets so tangled so often. I feel better now-Thanks!
We're happy to hear that this was helpful to you! xo
My hair is really thick and long, but every hair strand is thin. One thing that I love is wrapping it in a kardoune when I am home. It keeps the hair untangled and straighter than when I braid it. My hair also feels so soft when it is unwrapped.
My hair is not all that long, about 24 centimeters at the longest parts. Anything that would be helpful for this length in particular?
We suggest to deep condition your hair, as needed, to keep it smooth and hydrated. 💗
Gosh.. looking up hair stuff is so frustrating. Like its always a long list of vaugue what ifs to try and prevent or some product that may or may not work. Where do i go to get actual personalized advice about a specific topic? Do i need to book a salon appointment? Some kind of hair docter?
You may want to reach out to a stylist or for any health matters - your family doctor. 💗
also should you brush your hair after a shower even thought you did it before you showered? if so when? while it’s wet or when it’s dried?
You can gently brush your hair with a wide tooth comb. It should be easy to comb through since you've already detangled it. If there are still tangles, then try to get them out very gently with a wide tooth comb while the hair is still wet. If no success, just wait until the hair dries and then follow the method mentioned in this video :) xo
