With friends like you, we don't need to be alone!! It’s Real Love that you transmit through this piano lesson to all your viewers!! Send you a hug from Buenos Aires, Argentina!!🤗😉👍
Just my opinion…..But if every school could bring “Piano with Nate” into their lesson……Imagine how many more kids would be into music ⭐️. Brilliant lesson as usual - Real Love is such a melodic Beatles tune.
Great job on this. Also, I love the narratives with how, why and what else can be done. Keep it up. This is what separates your lessons as a teaching tool rather than a play through to be copied.
I've never heard this song but I love it. Your playing and singing are perfect. I hope I can learn this one. It gives me a good feeling for a sad song. Thanks Nate.
Thank you so much!! It's interesting...it does sort of feel like a "sad song" though the lyrics taken at face value are very happy. But there is a longing and darkness to it as well.
Thanks Nate for another great tutorial and I appreciate you breaking down the different ways to approach each song. Its simple enough to fast forward for those that don’t want or need the extra help :)
If it feels to tricky you can totally just stick with the main chords and sinking into whatever rhythm you’re most comfortable with. There are a lot of little details I added but it still sounds great without em!
Thanks again Nate, As always the tutorial is perfect in its content, pace, and narrative! I have personally through watching your tutorials(and practice with your encouragement)turned from a OK piano player to one that is proficient, and gets nice comments about my playing ❤ I am sure as we approach “September” there could be an appropriate tutorial 😂 please keep them coming
This is just amazing! I remember exactly where I was when I listened to this song for the first time, and that’s how you know it’s a good one! Can’t wait to learn this amazing piece! Thanks!
Wonderful tutorial. I finally mastered "Something". Mastered to my skill level anyway. Im so glad to see this song. This is one I have wanted for quite awhile. Im very excited to learn this one. JL had so many great songs. Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial. Im grateful.
This is the first time I've ever heard this song, and I'm a Beatle fan. Glad I discovered it through your video. I might learn this one this upcoming school break.
Thank you so much! I have saved so many of your videos! You are a skilled musician and teacher! Can you please make a tutorial for Sunrise by Norah Jones? I really appreciate your videos! What a gift!
Nate!! Thank you so much for your tutorials, i’ve learned seven songs from you already and my parents are so impressed!! It would be really great if you did A Thousand Miles, please?? Thank you!!
Oh my goash~!! This is waht I want to learn~!! Thanks a million. You kept my promise~! This is a really great lesson for me and john lennon's fan!! Thank you so much~!! So touched~!!
Another one for me to learn 😅. Honesty the best piano tutorial channel on RUclips! Could i request a song? I will by the beatles or maybe jealous guy john lennon? Thanks 😊
Hey Nate!!!’ Another Beatles song!’ Love the Beatles.. 🎶👍… about those comments. Talking too much? Not at all. It is great how you talk about the different options. Your tutorials are amazing and thorough. They are easy to follow. Those displays with the notes of the melody are very helpful. Keep them coming!!! Was there a snapshot of your dog for a few seconds? 😁 awesome play through at the end and great harmonies!! 🎉😁
Lovely stuff! BTW - I always heard it as "only to be alone...", bear in mind that John's original recording would have been a work in progress so he may still have been unsure about the precise (final version) of the lyrics. Just my thoughts. Thanks Nate.
Hey would you be able to do some more Elliott Smith covers. You’re cover of between the bars was great so was just wondering if you could do any more of his stuff cos I love his songs and I think your lessons are great. Thanks. Clementine would be awesome btw.
Mr Nate sir thank you very much I am a huge Beatles fan I don't remember this song so. If I may ask from what album is this song from thank you again best of wishes always Teddy😊
Brilliant lesson. Question : I am a guitarist who likes to sing also. I took piano lessons 20 years ago. But I "dropped out" : lessons were classical whereas I have no real interest in playing that music. I liked to learn about chord progressions etc but there was no room for that. Does your breakthrough course give the foundation to play like this ( accompaniment and singing ( albeit a bit out of key) ? I know how chords are formed but need a practice regime to make them interesting by playing ther right rhythms. What level of playing do I need to have to start your chords. Coordination between hands is a bit lost. Do I need 88 keys or is 61 sufficiënt ?
Hi! Great to hear from you. I don't say this to everyone, but yes the course sounds like exactly what you're looking for. It teaches how to decorate and embelish chord progressions with rhythms, arpeggios, etc. all in the style of piano accompaniment that I teach on the channel - meant to accompany singing. I have mixed feelings about the keyboard question. In middle school I did much of my learning on a 61 key yamaha...you can certainly make a lot of progress but you will soon feel held back. The problem isn't so much the number of keys, but that smaller keyboards tend to have smaller, cheap keys without that weighted action that makes them feel "real" and makes more subtle control and expression possible. That action of full sized wighted keys helps with rhythm as well. So, you can certainly get started on a 61 key keyboard, but if you're serious about your piano journey and it is financially feasable, I'd upgrade to a full sized digital piano sooner rather than later. Please let me know if you have any other questions - cheers!
Awesome! I have some quick slapback delay on there, and some reverb. I also doubled it (overdubbed myself singing it a second time) which Lennon did a lot of. Cheers - and thanks for the donation!

Can't wait to tackle this perfect Lennon song. What are you doing to change your voice to sound similar to his?
Awesome! I have some quick slapback delay on there, and some reverb. I also doubled it (overdubbed myself singing it a second time) which Lennon did a lot of. Cheers - and thanks for the donation!
Hey Nate? Can I ask how you accomplished getting the image of the piano the screen with the notes?
Hi! It's a program called ChordieApp. I connect my digital piano to it via MIDI. gumroad.com/a/451227475/lmSkV
