In Trap Words the other team comes up with the words you can't say and these are called "Trap Words". Another difference is the clue giver doesn't know what the trap words are. When a team earns a point the team moves to the next level. Each level has more trap words. So the first level as 3 trap words. The second 4 and so on up to the fifth level which has 7 trap words. Also throughout the game there's random curses that get played and effect how you play. So one curse might prevent the clue giver from speaking once someone on their team gives the first answer.

I'm fairly certain that you are restricted to only the words on the cards. If the word is outside, out is fine. If it's drunk then drink or drank should be fine.
