The Walmart Star Wars Dark Side cardboard displays were meant to hold five of each figure, but if you look, you can see a cardboard insert that allows two action figures to stand up. After two weeks, my store still has all eight of their figures.
Much of the plastic waste that’s impractical to recycle, if it’s already in Europe, gets sent to Sweden. The Swedes have become very good at building incinerators that produce useful heat and electric power from garbage. Yes, yes, the carbon in the plastic (plastics are mostly carbon!) ends up as carbon dioxide, but at least the plastic doesn’t end up as microplastics, and they get something useful by burning it. Probably it would cost too much fuel to collect unsellable toys from Ollie’s and ship them to good incinerators to be burned. I’m thinking landfills.

While the miniscule line that was created for the failure will certainly go that route, it's still a bit early for the mainline retailers to be wholesaling the lot. Hasbro doesn't care if these sell or gather dust on the store shelves / pegs......they have already made their money....(its not like these stores only pay Hasbro when these sell....the stores have to pay for them up front) and Hasbro has BILLIONS of dollors,not millions in its corporate bank acount

Makes sense that they limited their orders as that production is also limited, as Disney/Lucasfilm and Hasbro know they are not going to move. Even with that, its likely they will still end up at Ollie's soon, just not in the same vast quantities as everything else.
The most likely reason you're having trouble finding Wokalyte figures is because they were sent straight to the dump, right next to the Atari ET video game. You know, the one that sank Atari as a console company.
