Luckyly Stone is easy to farm in mass, so no big deal. I personally like to build in the middle northern parts with T2 isolated wood. Thanks to the patches, T2 isolated wood is much easier to aquire in large quantitive than T2 stone.
Nice build. On the second level though most of the rooms with thatch roof didnt really need ceiling tiles, would have made the rooms feel less claustrophobic when you're in them. I pretty much make all my rooms at least 2 high or use pitched roofing for that reason.
I really wish we had angled fence pieces so I could created secure wallside ramps, also nice to see something that isn't just T3 requiring extensive harvesting. I've been trying to get back into Conan but that early/midgame grind really beats me down. This looks like with a few modifications (wood spikes to funnel) you could even make it a progression base. I'll have to see if I can't push myself to try this I play solo offline (because screw griefers) but that would really be fun to finally reach the "end game" with a progression base.
If you're playing solo offline, you may be interested in some of the mods available - specifically Northern Timber, because that includes angled fence pieces :)
I find conan the most fun in offline/co-op so I can just build without any pvp worries. This way I can also modify the server settings to ease the grind a little.
Love this design!!! Especially the use of t1! Granted if you built this without using fly or spawning you'd probably be able to build most of it out of T2 by the time you were done, but its gorgeous! (I build with cheats when I'm solo xD sometimes you just wanna build the castle!)
I like the look of it. Feels like a real place instead of a video game construct. Nice work using limited tiles in such a pleasing way. My only concern is that the wide open front entrance seems to invite the purge to get inside and wreck your base. Maybe not a big deal if you're just making it all for free anyway. Easy enough to fix or replace anything the purge gets to. But if you're playing it for real, harvesting every stone, wood, plant, etc., it might be an irritating lot of farming to replace whatever the purge gets to, especially if they reach those crafting stations. Me, I'd build basically the same thing but then add some serious front gate defenses too.

Hey man, a little tip: show a blueprint or a floor plan, so players who would like to learn how to build stuff won't have to copy what you do block for block. They can now have an outline and can continue from there. You got very nice builds, tho!

How did you find inspiration to build like that?! I always have problems founding a good design for my bases, so i build in a way tha comport everything that a need. And they end as great squares with many floors to the to the sky and above... But your constructions are incredible!! Great work!! Do you work as a civil engineer or something?
but all the benches are accessible this is not for pvp i love the build it looks great but its super easy to climb the mountain and drop in and loot everything i know in pve servers that is not the case and this would be amazing build either way it looks great
this is awesome, however between climbing, bombs and explosive arrows when playing online, fortresses like this are just obsolete. it ruined the game. they need to do away with the climbing and explosives, or atleast make it an in game option to disable these things on your server because as it stands i dont see the point of building a castle on a defensible location when literally anyone can just climb up the side of it and blow it up. especially when youre not online
I personally think that the property of offline people should be unbreakable and unclimbable. This could be abused but it would solve a lot of bullshit.
Looks very nice.. but lacks any form of defenses... no main gate... walls that are no problem to get up on from the outside, many blind corners.... but other then that. it's nice for PVE :)

@Fenharell "завалено" релевантными видео. тоесть тебе ютуб предлогает эти видео потому, что другим людям они нравятся. и это не просто кликнули и вышли, а долго смотрели и проявляли активность в виде лайков и коментов. попробуй сузить результаты поиска поиском по интересующим тебя словам. functional base, pvp base. и т д. в зависимости от того, что ты ищешь😀
would love a diagram of the lay out so i know the exact amount of foundations and walls and such that would be needed. the video seemed a little fast for me to keep up lol xD
One thing you should do before making these, is show where on the map your building and the area before you start. Some people may not be able to ID the exact spot just by seeing you building on it right off.

I prefer to cover up the sides of exposed sandstone foundations with fence foundations. Looks more natural to me.
This "beginner" base would have Purge on you SO FAST.... it looks great though lol

Sorry, i have to comment on it again... having no actual gate makes this base only useful for storing things... animals or npcs can walk right in.

The position of the first foundation is so hard that this whole construction is a pain to even try. It's not helpfull at all.
