Haven't heard this in years but still love it ❤. A crazy story of synchronicity in my younger life involves this song..at 18 I was hell bent on joining the military so I could go to Iraq and fight a war, something I'd glorified as a kid. When I told my mom she told my uncle who was a Vietnam vet. He called me up one night and gave me essentially the same message as this song. You're young and need to live and BE young. He had been severely traumatized by his experience in Vietnam as a 19 year old and didn't want the same happening to me. I thought about what he said all week until the following Friday night when I heard this song for the first time at a party. Loved it and went home to download it after which I mustve listened 100 times in a row. I felt that God or the universe or something was speaking to me so I listened and changed my plans. This isn't meant to knock veterans its just my personal story.
This was my first concert ever. I've been to many many concerts in the days since, but there's something truly transcendent about the roar in the crowd when Chad plays the opening lick to this one.
I just met Chad at SXSW this year at a hotel gig, seriously the most humble and down to Earth musician I've ever met not to mention a genius at that too. Amazing song.
Isis Pierce m Billings Montana went to Santiago Dominican Republic in 04 and introduced me to this band. I guess that's why the biggest indy band ever!!! Thanks a lot Isis!
When we practice forgiveness, we are physically lighter on this planet. Something happens at 3:45 and I got to experience it irl at a Dispatch show...it changed my life.
Awesome the little kid in red shirt bouncin around on dads shoulders reminds me of taking my 10 yr old when he was 2-3 to jam band festivals lol Rollin in the mud with my boy. Good times.
the greatest live band I've seen, never seen a crowd get so into a show everyone sang every word to the old songs they played. then they hand an encore and covered sirens by the string cheese incident before doing a great version of time by pink floyd.

God I love the energy. Sitting in my car crying. It’s so inspiring.❤❤❤❤
Same.
I love this song and band. I love the way they start off in the old van and then play a packed stadium of fans who sing along the whole time.

I just wish there were more people out there that recognized how great dispatch is.
Bruh look how many ppl are at the concert haha
They're a jam band (so yes rock in a broad sense) with heavy reggae and folk influences. They're kind of their own genre
Recently did a school project on them in history of rock and roll, and used this song, i would have used this video if i had known it was on here...
The best of the best

This is DISPATCH
6 minute mark Jersey pride.
I like this song with electric guitar, but acoustic, for once, sounds better to me.

Is it really?
That drummer looks YIPPED up in the beginning lol
Underrated band. Shame they broke up

Such a simpler time
they are awesome. but I think Chad needs better guitar tone. Otherwise great.
I've been looping ruclips.net/video/tvF6QHF-t-o/видео.html endlessly. Such a cool riff and moshpit-like take on the song!
Slightly scooped
I think I am in love with the girl at 5:10
