Nice video! Really enjoyed both Oceanside videos. Think I saw 101287 when I was in Oceanside back in November. The Labries are my favorite residential trucks North County has.
+Garbage Truck Photography Thank you! The Labries are very cool, I was impressed with the looks and reach of them. Seems like those are the only Labries WM has in SoCal.
Awesome!! Those Amreps were very cool. 101287 was my favorite truck. The Labrie's were.....Labrie's lol. Those old green cascades were pretty cool. 3:40 was cool. Really liked this one!
Great video Aaron! Probably one of your best. Really awesome that all those drivers were so chill and friendly... I've only ever run into a few LABOS drivers who did what you said Jim did. 101287 was fun to watch, and although he didn't rev as much as I would have liked, the missing parts of the grille were cool as well as the short, low, grumbly revs he let off at times. Takeoffs were great too. Glad to see this truck as I was just about to give up hope that WM still had any Volvo ASLs still running in SoCal. Although a CNG, the Autocar Labrie was fun to watch - never knew a Labrie arm could stretch out as far as it did at 2:47. Fascinating to see the single fuel tank on the rear of the truck too. Gotta love those Volvo WXLL amreps - I think you got footage of my favorite refuse truck combo!! 10:18 - 10:19 was sexy lol. Glad to see that they are still running these beauties. Any idea when their gonna be gone?
+SoCalGarbageTrucks Thank you! Some of the coolest drivers out here for sure, which certainly added to the fun. Haha I had given up hope of seeing any Diesel Volvos ASLs in SoCal until the WM staff informed me that Oceanside still had them running. WXLL was awesome! They're supposedly running til mid next year, but I was told that they might break ground on a CNG station in November, so I wouldn't wait too long to try and film them if you really want to see some of them in action.
That last one was quite the surprise, not only to find a truck revving that well and yard waste in a trailer park, but I'm amazed that that many 32g carts are on the streets for greens! And there I was thinking truck 287 was pretty fun to watch. Awesome work, especially enjoyed the primo view (from the front) of greens falling out of each can. Also good on ya for getting the POD that was in the other vid...glad to see O'side is still among the more interesting places as far as this goes
+Trashman242 Thanks Scott! 101198's route was funnnn. Kinda wish I got a tad bit more, didn't realize how little I got. 32 gallon carts added to the awesomeness of that little route! I was a bit annoyed that all the trucks we found were in tight areas (alleys make up a HUGE chunk of the Friday route!), so glad to hear that the shots of those trucks turned out alright. Haha POD really made the day even better. Glad I got to see one in person. Oceanside is awesome, there's still a few more trucks I'd like to find before CNG comes in. Thanks for the comment!
+Trashman242 We pretty much explored everywhere north of Oceanside Blvd. and west of the 5 (downtown to the north border). I think there's one more route section that we didn't explore which is everything south of Oceanside and west of the 5. So pretty much everything west of the 5 I would say
Glad to still see some diesels still in Oceanside! The Volvos were kick-ass, especially Se's truck! Loved the squeaks! The Labries are pretty cool too, too bad they don't flip lids.
Dude awesome video!! Probably one of my favorites from you! Also probably one of my favorite Socal divisions because of the great variety they have along with GI, BBD, and SV of course :D! Sooo cool how you found a childhood truck, just 2 down from '285. Truck sounds soo good, love the airbrakes! Those Labries are so cool, love the flat tailgates, always had a thing for the automizers haha. Man that WXLL revved good, liked how he would close all the lids. Awesome awesome job Aaron, probably one of your best vids! Checking out PT 2 now!!!
+Kevin Barajas Thank you Kevin! Yeah haha 101287 was one of my favorites as a child, saw it all over the place. Every truck we found was really cool, even the ones we didn't film haha
"Is that a project or something?" I get that a lot haha. Great trucks here. I wish we had them autocar automizers up here instead of m2s. And that WXLL amrep sounds incredible! Gotta love it when they're fast too.
+Northwest Refuse Haha first time for me in a long time. Lol you don't know how often I wish Washington got Autocars instead of Freightliners! Yeah the WXLL was great! That guy really floored it!
Excellent work Aaron! You guys found some really cool trucks. Wow glad to see you found a truck from your childhood that's awesome! That Volvo sure sounded awesome! And the Volvo WXLL revved pretty good too! I also like how 101287 had the double logos on the tailgate, haven't seen that in a while. Also like the Autocar Labrie, they sure have impressive reach capabilities! Never knew Oceanside ran trucks as old as these! I remember when I was young I went to Oceanside a couple times to visit some relatives but never saw any garbage trucks out haha. Will there be a yard tour video too? Altogether awesome video!! Looks like you had a fun day filming this!
+thelyokofannumber1 Thank you! Oceanside has some of the best trucks around right now! Yard tour is a possibility - I have some stuff from the tour, but not long enough to make a "decent" yard video lol. We'll see :-) Thanks again Andres!
Good job Aaron I really love that white gmc and the Volvo reminds me of the good ol days the Volvo was really nice I mean no one could get that much action this is my favorite vid the drivers seem really nice were they that nice anyways good job this was a real pice of work Aaron
This Oceanside was one of your best trips. Felt like I was watching Alex's videos, but he was there with you lol I enjoyed the WX, how did it feel filming one again? Not a big fan of Labries but 2:13 was pretty cool. Lol those alleys looked like Long Beach alleys. Also nice WXLL. I liked how it revved and how the claw was so bouncy on those 30s. Also like the yellow too. Drivers seemed chill, does Alex know them?
+South Bay Refuse Haha thanks! Felt the same way about the trip. It was awesome filming one of my childhood trucks. It's one of those content feelings, like I could go a little while without the urge to film. Labries are darn good for alleys I must say. Alex only knew the WXLL driver (but Alex didn't recognize who he was until after we finished filming lol). Goes to show how nice these employees are, every single one was cool with us filming. Thanks for the comment!
+trash trucks of tn and crazy boy Thanks! Maybe next time - there are some other cities that run more interesting trucks, so Carlsbad isn't a high priority

+mndsi Thank you! 101287 was my favorite as well! I was actually quite impressed with the Labries, they're pretty darn entertaining. Glad you enjoyed!
Awesome video! That Volvo amrep sure was violent! That reach at 2:10 lol!
+Garbage truck erik Thank you!

***** And so the Friday route ended up being where? I only remember that it's visible from the 5
+Trashman242 We pretty much explored everywhere north of Oceanside Blvd. and west of the 5 (downtown to the north border). I think there's one more route section that we didn't explore which is everything south of Oceanside and west of the 5. So pretty much everything west of the 5 I would say
Awesome video! Really enjoyed seeing all these trucks. Came out great!
+West Coast Refuse Trucks Thanks Alan! Looking forward to seeing whenever you'll be posting the Oceanside trucks from your visit!
Glad to still see some diesels still in Oceanside! The Volvos were kick-ass, especially Se's truck! Loved the squeaks! The Labries are pretty cool too, too bad they don't flip lids.
+garbageproductions1 Yeah! There is a surprisingly good amount of Diesel trucks still in Oceanside!
Awesome video

Missed hearing the squeaks from the first truck when we had Volvos while it lasted. :( Great hearing it again :D
- Waste Management of OC
+Dragronville1 Oh yeah dude I could've followed 101287 all day because of those. Everything about that truck is great haha Thanks!

Dude nice video! I love those airbrakes!I especially loved that Volvo! Was that tri-axle? Great Video Man!
+Kanyisa Ahegbebu Thanks! Yes, the first truck was a tri axle, three wheels means tri axle
didn't they transfer 101198 to blue barrel?
+WM of AV Productions If they did, it must've been very recent. They've had 101168 for a while
