Yes, of course. I am actually hoping for the elegant and respectable presidential election and people are debating in different controversial issues in America.
I am a liberal Democrat, and I tend not to agree with issues politically with the Republican Party. But when I hear this video, I come away with respect and honor for Romney. What a man of intelligence and respect for the democratic process. Thank you for your service, Romney. Thank you.

No matter what your ideology is, this is the way it should be, the way the people all around the world deserve their representatives to be. Fierce competitive, yes. That's why I'm here. As much as I disagreed with Romney's positions and as much as I've wished Obama had gone further, I don't think either of them are bad guys. They made jokes about each other and themselves in good fun, not like tonight. This election season has become beyond pitiful.

starting at 8:00... this could not have possibly been more different than the remarks given by donald and hillary at the al smith dinner in 2016. it's unimaginable how running for president has slipped to this point 4 years later where nominees not only show open contempt for each other, but for democracy itself.
Romney and Obama had better jokes too.
Well, when democracy is about to fall to the establishment once and for all and war with Russia is imminent, you take on a more serious tone. Also, all election dinners end with "sincere" remarks for the other candidate and the country.
The candidates don't write the jokes.
It was an annual charity dinner not an election one. It just happened to fall in an election year. What Donald and Hillary did was a bit over the line of civility.

Even if I lean to the right, I have always thought Obama was a great president and deserved to be elected twice. It’s sad that last year neither party could come up with a respectable candidate, quite embarrassing for the US as a country that out of the 325 million Americans people chose those 2.
