Nice. I just got a p71 and I’m looking for ideas. Definitely going to delete the cats and take advantage of living in a county with 0 emissions testing. Lol I do want to make it a little throaty so I’ll probably x pipe it with some flow masters
I think if depends on goals. If you port the heads (which I didn’t) you can get some good gains out of a 270 cam. But it will mostly be at the top end. These 262s really feel nice all the way to the redline, and the power is there from just under 3k. I’m going to be adding a supercharger in the next year, so these will really help the stock heads flow.
@@neverendingcarproject do you have a rough estimate of what's rpm it makes peak power? Do you regret not doing with a bigger cam or is this just right for a heavy car? Also how bad were the losses down low?
@@cameronpierce5188 peak is 5300 and it doesn’t fall off until close to 6k. I don’t notice any lose. Honestly I did a tone of research before buying 262s. If degreed and tuned properly they have great usable power throughout the rev range. 270s have a higher peak but you need to really rev it out. This is a supporting mod for the blower I plan to add.
Nice sound and air freshener!!!!
Sounds wicked, no problem getting up to speed!! I love it , good work on the 5 speed swap !
Sounds good bro.
So sweet!😎🤘

05 CVPI owner here. Very impressive ride you have. Question, If I may ask. Do you think anything higher than those 262 cams would hinder our engines?

@@neverendingcarproject will the 3650 handle it?
@@MrEvilTag3650 can handle about 400-450 bhp. Same with stock 2v internals.
Sounds awesome it runs very strong bro, did the underdrive pulleys hurt your Cooling and charging system any?
The water pump pulley is larger than it was before, the only thing that’s actually going slower is the alternator, and that’s not a problem.
@@neverendingcarproject ok good deal, thanks Bro. Because I've been debating on getting some for my car
Philly!!!
Sure does bounce around alot for a luxury boat 😎😎
Must not have the police suspension package
4.6 2Vs have such a nice sound when you let them breathe a little bit
Sounds great
Bouncy
all that noise, but no speed
Haha you’re not wrong. I’ve since added about 200hp to the car. It’s moving now!
Sounds incredible. What mufflers are you running beyond the longtubes?
Flowmaster 40s
hell yeah dude
Philly baby
A whole 270whp
Little different now, but the hate is noted. Appreciate it
That's 250hp more than your honda
XE262AH?
Any head work?
Car is way different now. Boosted. Check other videos
Was the steering wheel a pain?
1 bolt for the hub, 6 to hold the wheel to the hub. Simple change
Were the cams worth it? And what rear gear?
Worth it. Yes. 3.55 gears. Soon to be 3.73
