I'm sure they'll work out all the issues with laws and legislations eventually, but for now it seems impossible to have everything up and running in two years.
Great video. I am wondering if you will eventually build a vehicle for the average consumer or will it be a high-end vehicle only? Lastly, will you make a VR demo available in games like MS Flight sim or XPlane12?
It will start out as more of a luxury product, similar to how all forms of transportation started. Our long-term goal is to make them more affordable.
Regarding the VR experience, we're actively working on making it available for use in gaming, allowing people to experience the sensation of flying a Doroni H1.

Amazing to see but been developing this idea for quite a few years now and I still honestly don't see it being brought to the market as the only way i could see it becoming a reality is having to get a licence for it and even then where will be allowed to fly as i dont see it being allowed to land causing so much wind and other obstruction so it will limit any use which is a shame cuz would be awesome to be able to have
Part 103 ultralight? Range? Craft weight? Top speed? Kinda lame none of that was mentioned.

Really clever concept due to the strength and saftey aspects of a drone. I knew the guy that flew the gyro copter in James Bond and you think of such a small thing being unsafe but it isn’t
It’s not a car. It doesn’t drive on a street
It's an eVTOL (Electric vertical takeoff and landing), commonly referred to by most people as a flying car.
@@DoroniAerospace Such a new space but a great marketing differentiator would be to come up with a better product name than evtol or flying car. Be the kleenex, not the tissue. a flying car would also be able to drive on the streets... This doesn't do that and you can't just take off and land anywhere you want. its sort of like the light sport class of airplanes...

but please don't use "only" "first" and such adjectives, as this kind of vehicles has been done before in experimental and one off projects many times before, specially considering there are many companies working on this now...

Hope this comes out, think auto drive only would allow this to come out sooner, and not need a licence to fly would be amazing so for everyone, if you want to fly get a licence. So a perfect taxi to your favourite restaurant/ bar and be able to take you home and therefor no crashes with others as it’s not controlled by humans? Can’t wait looks amazing

Nothing in this video shows actual flying, aside from a short bit with no sound in a warehouse. Does this not work outside? Does it actually work at all? I mean, IRL, not VR.
Doroni is about three decades late calling itself the first flying car.

Everyone is afraid of new technology, even when the first elevator was invented. I think this is really the future, no file after work. Even more freedom, and I think it could be safer as riding cars.

In what way is this a car? Its a vtol aircraft. Is a harrier jet a car? Is an osprey a flying bus? Its cool, but its not a car.

Doroni is a USA company and we have to comply with the FAA standers and regulations. 2025 is the estimated timeline to get the FAA certification for aircrafts like ours.
Cool video and all but calling this thing a "car" is a stretch. I still believe humans aren't ready for anything that flies as personal commodity. Already forsee accidents malfunctions and lawsuits. Good luck to everyone. People can barely drive cars and their being handed flying vehicles. 🤣 yup were doomed.
Totally. But Doroni clarifies that the “car” in “flying car” is used very loosely. They have zero plans or aspirations for this to drive on a roadway. They are shooting for this to get certification as a Light Sport Aircraft.
