That's a valid point. Prices are same but earnings/taxes are different. I believe US has better or larger spectrum of opportunities and Canada has good life plans. The rest depends on ur personal values to prefer one over the other.
For Oil & Gas industry, Alberta is the hub with assets all over Canada, US etc. Large Canadian companies include Suncor, Canadian Natural Resource CNRL, Cenovus, Imperial Oil with assets in BC like Fort Saint John's area and head offices in Calgary Alberta. . BC has a joint multi billion venture among Shell, Petro China and Mitsubishi Japan in Kitimat BC for LNG where the natural gas comes from Fort Saint John's assets owned by Shell. So certainly BC has the opportunities in oil and gas but maybe with the head office mainly in Calgary. Explore the above companies websites for opportunities. There are tons of other EPC companies too operating from Calgary like Fluor, Worely Parson etc.
Shukriya bhai. Currently I am working in middle East in LNG plant as operator. If I move BC ,do I need to do further study/course to get a job in my field or it would be difficult. Thanks
Canadian passport key saath aap USA main job kar saktey hain with H-1B visa. . H-1B is a temporary work permit (valid for 3years) but you have to have an offer from a US company. So you can apply for a job in US, then that company will sponsor your visa. There is other types of work visa as well like L1 visa which is professional transfer or TN visa for Canada and Mexico workers. Thora mushkil sey milta hae US work visa

You might need a license here. You can still get a job though based on your experience.
