    Thanks Daniel for the informative video. I’ve decided to replace my Borla attack exhaust on my TrackHawk for the GT Haus. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the Borla exhaust sound track, I just think GT Haus is better quality of materials, which delivers the best soundtrack available for the TrackHawk.

    Any issues with the vacuum after 2 years? And does it only cold start with valves open? Half the reason I want valves is to have a quieter cold start

    • @dstasikllc
      @dstasikllc  2 года назад +2

      no issues
      It needs the vacuum to close the valves so it takes a second or 2 to close on start up so there is a loud snap at start up before the valves close

    I hid my solenoid and controller in the back under the DC outlet in the trunk. I also pulled power from the outlet which is only on with the key in run position. I like not having anything visible under the hood except a tiny bit of ugly blue vacuum hose.

    Was that rattling from the valves, when they are closed? You mentioned that they don’t like to be closed is there a reason why?

    • @dstasikllc
      @dstasikllc  11 месяцев назад

      I think there’s so much pressure from the exhaust. It might be internal a small vibration, but I typically do not keep them closed. I’m only using them to quiet it down at night.

    Great video, any issues with drone? I have a 14 SRT8 Charger and I am stuck between this exhaust and the Corsa Sport or Extreme, mostly because they claim the drone is completely gone, but if this one eliminates it too then I'm definitely going with gt haus

    • @dstasikllc
      @dstasikllc  3 года назад +3

      No drone, I will admit it is loud with even small throttle increases using the valve bypass does quite it down a lot Almost like stock I happen to like it loud my wife seems to tolerate it fine the GT house exhaust is on the expensive side unfortunately but the quality is worth the expense I do hear the Borla attack is comparable to the sound But I absolutely love this exhaust

      I had a few car with vacuum operated valve exhaust. Given that they are more robust than electric ones, but the valves are always open unless the car is turn on due to the need of vaccum... That means super loud morning cold start!!! So I will definitely get the electric one for my durango for that reason.
