It's an animal that loves to climb and swing through the trees. If it was in a cage it wouldn't be able to do those things. The person filming is home with it. When they get bored, they will climb. It didn't misbehave just because it was exploring. Since they don't have it in a cage or a leash around its neck or waist, then it's going to climb and jump.
You could give the rodent a bath, snd drop the electrical strip in the tub. Problem solved.
