Man has created his own genre, self-directs his MV's, has maintained creative power in his music despite obtaining a record label, has only dropped HEAT, and has the most loyal fanbase. He's the definition of a self-made artist and he just keeps getting better. Cannot WAIT for the album.

@@nickgoff6425 eh i don't rlly think it has to do with opinion lol it more about the fact that this is rlly just pop. He may have borrowed some diff patterns and sounds from other genres but that's pretty normal. Melodies, mixing, most of the sounds, song structure/arrangement all rlly just pop. still sounds great tho
@@nixweldon1618 I think if you look a little deeper you’ll find that his music isn’t just pop haha. It’s more edgy than pop. It’s almost a rap/punk/pop mix but we can just call it his genre hahaha. He uses sounds they just don’t play on the radio, and the way he mixes his bass and vocals are unlike any pop artist, or any artist for that matter.
@@nickgoff6425 I know I listen to his music a ton. Not all of his songs are like this. And no these aren't typical sounds you'd hear on the radio but it's still pop as its a wideee genre. His other music is pretty creative but still falls into diff genres. It's extremely hard to make a song that is a completely new genre as almost all music nowadays falls into a genre. And genre fusions don't exactly = its own genre unless there's something completely new brought to the table. Because there can be pop vocals over a trap beat but the song would still be classified as pop. It's the mixing of two genres but its not rlly its own genre as tonsss of pop songs borrow sounds from other genres. So even if its not typical pop its still pop. But I see what you mean, you're just calling it its own genre instead of having to explain that its a mix of a bunch of different genres.

He's just changed so much I'm excited for an album or something I'm glad he's not sticking with the welcome style because people would be like he's only making the same music. But people really miss the welcome home type of music I do too but this shit is way better and maybe one day some welcome home style songs will be made!

On February 5th I got into a bad car accident with my mom and broke my hand (fortunately she came out unscathed). the car was totaled and after that day my anxiety was crippling. I didn’t do anything but lay in bed and cry. I couldn’t sleep for weeks. I tried everything but I was just not getting better. I finally decided to go outside. I started going on long walks processing everything. Coming to grips with your own mortality is a trip. Then this song came into my life and became the only song that kinda grounded me. It was like a blanket. It was the only song I could listen to without going into a mental feedback loop. I know the song wasn’t incredibly deep but it helped me out during a tough time. Thank you Aries.

@@CraftedCreatures he's always gotten help from friends like slippy, matt mems, mai, internet money but it's not because he NEEDS the help. working with people just sparks ideas and motivation you wouldn't otherwise get working by yourself 24/7. aries forms the tracks and chooses which ideas he wants to work on and it deserves praise which I think was the point of the comment.

Aries’ music is incredible. Always has been, from the very beginning. But let me tell you- I have fallen even more in love with the style of songs & music videos in the last few months with the singles he’s dropped. I didn’t think it was possible for the love of an artist to keep growing like this. I am wildly impressed. From finding him in 2017, to loving the ep/album drop in spring 2019, to seeing him live in San Francisco fall 2019, to every new song now... I’m here for the long run.
