I love all the info, it's been so very important and helpful and I thank you for that. It's unfortunate that my business is not big enough to jump in with you and the larger companies, I wish there was a line of communication available for the questions smaller companies like mine have that would help us grow a bit faster. I am eternally grateful for your content and shared information. Always a fan!
Thank you for that impute and it is very helpful to hear your feedback! Do you feel like it would be useful for your company if we offered something like a weekly Group Coaching Call?
Hello! What if the insurance company agrees to pay O&P but only if you provide receipts of the materials, including sales tax? We’ve had multiple of these and they will not move forward unless we provide it to them, isn’t that confidential?
It is confidential. You are correct. I would suggest saying something like "It is our policy to keep our subcontractors break down of pricing confidential, I can provide their contact information for you to reach out for these receipts."
Does the name of your company make a big difference? For example, if your company names have roofing at the end, those it reduces your chance of getting O&P?
In my experience taking roofing out of the name it helps to get O&P paid. But, for marketing purposes you may run into some challenges. Those are easy to overcome. Reply to this comment if you need more help!
But aren't lawsuits public record? And if an insurance company pulls an ISO that shows a prior claim and digs into the specifics of that claim, wouldn't they find out that you filed a lawsuit? If so, how do you reconcile a contractor suggesting to the insured that judges always side with the insured.
❤ I am learning a lot from you. Thank You for your service, it's invaluable.
You're very welcome! I am so glad it helps!

That would be great. There are situations that exist we have no where to go to for any understanding. I appreciate your response.

Great video, timely info. How do you counter an Adjuster that agrees to pay 5 and 5 but not 10 and 10?
Thank you! You can look at providing proof of what your actual cost of overhead is. And ask them to match that with profit.

I don't suggest telling the insured, that they own the claim . I just want to explain what the relationship between the homeowner and contractor is.
