I know I'm a bit late on this one since we're literally 2 days before Wind's release and I'm aware some copies have made their way into the public despite them putting a strict on-sale date, but I've had this video half finished forever, so might as well get it out there since I talk about other stuff besides that. 😅 Anyway, assuming all goes well, hopefully my next video will be footage from spending a day in the real-life forest that inspired the books!
Ugh, first time in about 2 years that I don't take a day off on the day of premiere to read it right away :cries: I planned too, but I was sick through most of February and part of March so didn't wanna take days off so soon. And of course, it seems like I will be late from work on 2nd :/ Regarding Super Editions: -Honestly, I would have still preferred if Ivypools SE would touch upon her past that we didn't see, like between Omen of the Stars and A Vision of Shadows, show her and Fernsong falling in love and stuff. The SE who focus on the past tend to be better than the ones who are part arc in my opinion, but I digress. - I wonder when exactly the next Super Edition could be taking place. Forgotten generation of warriors could imply sometime between Dawn of the Clans and Cloudstar's Journey (which happens to be the same timeframe my own fanfiction takes place). However, it very well could happen much sooner to Prophecies Begin, we know very little of the time between Bluefur becomes the deputy and Rusty joins ThunderClan, could be about Sandstorm's parents xD Would be also fun to have the writers bend over backwards to explain all the weird couplings, like Ravenpaw's mother having Longtail with another tom before going back to her mate and having another litter very soon (since Longtail was a warrior for a few moons when Ravenpaw and Dustpelt were already apprentices) xD Seriously, ThunderClan was on a massive bender after Bluefur became the deputy ;p Regarding 9th arc: - "old friend who we've been following since first arc" could refer to a lot of cats. Personally I would have LOVED if it was about Brambleclaw and his retirement, would be interesting to see. Also if they made him POV again it would be a massive "f*** you" from the writers to all his haters and I freaking love it xD But it could very well be about Cloudtail, he was very important through 5 books of the first arc while Brambleclaw only through 3, or the other elders. Also it could refer to Stormfur, either the next arc would focus entirely on the Tribe (hopefully not cause that would be boring for an entire arc) or he could return to the Clans (although personally I was never really a fan of him, and after his last appearance I even grew to dislike him). Only other living cats from first arc I could think off would be Tawnypelt (and Mosspelt I suppose) but I think they call the cat "him" in the article. Lastly, it could refer to a dead cat, so most likely Firestar. Regarding Star and Wind: 3:35 "Can a Clan that has turned on itself ever truly recover?" Well lets ask ShadowClan, they turn on themselves every two arcs xD We're up to 3 at this point, 4 if we count Berryheart's c'oup. - it really annoys me that the blurb for Star spoilers Harelight's death as there was no reason, it could have been easily ommitted. As for why Harelight dies, I think Frostpaw wanted to choose him as RiverClan leader, the way she spoke in Thunder on their way back it seemed she had a specific cat in mind, and Harelight seemed like the cat she knew the most to the point she would know he would be a good leader. Also I had hoped that it would be the case because I thought it would be hilarious if there were two Harestars xD But sadly, that won't be :/ Anyway, maybe she went to talk to him about it and he tried to lead uprising or maybe Splashtail just learned about it and murdered him in secret? - I believe Splashtail will try to do something similar to Sol , try and talk to his Clanmates about StarClan being useless and that the living should follow their own will. As for how he would convince RiverClan to follow him to the point they would consider his words, well, like every tyrant before him he would make decisions that would be very popular by his Clanmates. Like, say, banishing a cat that supported ShadowClan's occupation. Or attacking ShadowClan for the humiliation they endured the past 3 books; with ShadowClan no doubt still unhappy about Tigerstar for making them occupy RiverClan and then bullying them into submission at the Gathering, plus still exhausted after "guarding" RiverClan, Splashtail will no doubt take advantage of their problems to attack them. I think if he'd defeat them, RiverClan would be so happy that he would let them feel proud again that they would support him in his plans. As for how he could stand up to all other Clans, he could use dogs again (that part about trickery specifically makes me think about that), or maybe ally with Berryheart and maybe even some other rogues? Sleekwhisker could always come back and remaining Kin, and heck. - what I liked about Squirrelstar's and Ivypool's talk with Nightheart was that Squirrelstar talking about how leaders cannot act like they want, they have to think of how their choices affect their Clanmates. Moreso that it was spelled out for readers who don't get politics all that well and instead joke that all warriors lose their brains after becoming leaders ;p (on that note, there was a very good article on that a few months ago as well^^) Anyway, it will be interesting to see how she deals with this rather complicated political issue. Anyways, can't wait to read the book^^
It's been so long since I last read warriors that Squirrelflight is a leader I can't believe it Last time I read was Veil of Shadows while ASC is almost done
I know how you feel, I stopped reading after Shattered Sky (couldn't get through Tigerheart's Shadow and didn't want to start next one before I finished it), finally noticing that an entire next arc wrapped up gave me the kick in the pants to return to reading Warriors xD So many things happened in the meantime! (and I got a lot of them spoiled :/)
Yes, in the current arc they added a rule to the warrior code allowing leaders to step down or be voted out of their role, and Bramblestar decided to step down and retire. So Squirrelflight became leader since she was deputy, and she picked Ivypool as her own deputy.

That’s okay. 😂❤
Do you happen to have a roblox group? Because I swear I've seen one called dawnwings, a warrior cat + wings of fire group
@@Crev_ce3 Nope, not in any Roblox groups.
Your the best source to get Warriors news from. You’re always clear and concise, it’s amazing!
Splashtail is the new Hawkfrost.
I say he's more similar to Tigerstar 1, not Hawkfrost.
@@paradox-they-them9039 I mean, Hawkfrost was from riverclan, so i could be a reference to Hawkfrost. But he es more like Tigerclaw.
@Bass_gaming556 I think he did, i don't want to give spoilers. But if the Erins don't do it bad. It could be a good antagonist. He had pontencial.

Omg! I’m soooo excited
Me too
Same.
I didn’t know that Wind was coming out so soon! 😅
I am confused
Did squirrelflight became leader and made ivypool her dep?
I just saw that on the wiki
I am really lost-

@@DawnwingWC oh okay!!
I'm thinking it's ravenpaw!
i feel not, he has GN arc, a novella, and itw
And, spoiler warning,
Ravenpaw has passed.
