Alright Jamie, thanks for having me in the video (I'm the second last fella interviewed) and it turned out great, ya met some deadly characters! 😁 And I had a great laugh with yous on the day as well, pure gent 👌 all the best, im subbed and I'll be keeping an eye out for more vids!!
Once again Jamie, you have used your wonderful gift of being able to bring out the best in people. I didn’t think the accent was difficult to understand at all. And the friendly nature and strong sense of community of the locals was such a positive consensus among them that restored my faith in people. Great job as usual my friend.
Greetings from across the pond, Portland, Oregon USA. Thank you very much for this video. I am looking forward to my future trip that also includes Dundalk.

Great video as always Jamie. I found the accent very easy to understand. Seems like a very lovely little town. The people were just , what I would call, good ole country folk. Very friendly and down to earth. Another 👍 from me.
Every one of these vids has its own personality. So hope I get to visit some of these places to experience myself. Until then, I'll keep enjoying these.
Was in Dundalk around 40 years ago for a football match between Dundalk and Celtic. Unfortunately prior to us visiting I think another "team" Linfield? Wrecked the place, many of the pubs either let you in, then closed the doors, or closed the doors. We made the mistake of wanting to see what the other pubs were like. Couldn't get in! Asked a bus Driver to drop us at the nearest good pub. Ended up in Blackrock in The Brake Bar. Had a Fantastic time Drinking pint for pint with the Owner. We visited him every time we were over in Co Donegal ( Glengad) and also stopped off each time in Dundalk as we knew we didn't get a chance the first time. Fantastic people. Love the place. If you've not been, what's keeping you?
Ah Dundalk... where my grandfather was born. They lived on Williamson Place at the time. My dream is to come visit Dundalk to meet long lost cousins and see where my grandfather lived and then head to Milestown and CastleBellingham where my great grands lived and off to Ardee where my great great grands lived! I may not have been born in Ireland, but Ireland has my heart!
Excellent presentation and interviewing as always, Jamie! This makes me want to visit Dundalk if I ever get a chance to come to Ireland. "How's she cuttin'" is County Louth? Is Leather Jacket Guy from there?
Nice one! As someone who's yet to visit Ireland, it's great to see these places and hear from real people! Keep these videos coming and as a suggestion for what county to visit, maybe go and avenge Colin and do a nice video in Carlow....
Nice comment buddy, very well meeting you on here, trust you're fine and keeping safe, I'm an expert in foreign exchange market. Are you familiar with forex trading.. would you like to explore the idea?
dundalk always reminded me of a small american town... its the buildings and the court house at the square..... but not the church... all its missing is rock n' roll music blaring out and the fonz with all the 1950's classic american cars parked up.😎🤠🤓🥸😎
My favorite part of this, but extending to all of Ireland, is after asking why someone should visit the answer is ice cream and because the Irish mythological figure Cú Chulainn used to live nearby. And then when you're processing that, Sasha just did whatever Sasha was going to do.
He was going on about Louth accents yet he never went to Drogheda which couldn't be more different to the Dundalk accent. Ardee, Dunleer are also quite different.
Nobody can say it’s the worst accent without explaining why , understanding what they are saying is more important in any county. Some counties they speak so fast, and that’s the county I would say is the worse accent .
Once at a hostel in Gaillimh a local man had a very difficult accent to understand, very different from Conamar accent. I find the Gaoth Dobhair accent the sexiest 😽💕 Ladies from Gaoth Dobhair... Mo Dhia! An-galánta go minic.

Cork is difficult--
It's just meaningless nonsense. A bit like newstalk regurgitating the same news topics over and over.
That fella with the beard at the end must be talking about a different town, absolutely nobody in Dundalk uses the word Beour
