Hi, I am not a experience person in Photography, i only capturing Political Parties demonstration, strikes, rallies and now a days i am trying to improve my work. After seen your video i feels Grid+ Diffusion lighting looks littel darker.
Thanks for watching. I do agree it is a bit dark and my goal is to brighten the image on the next video. Please let me know if you think the image is much brighter after watching my next video. Thanks for the feedback1
Sometimes, if space doesn't allow or if there's not a great way to position the light, we've had great results bouncing the light off of a white/gray wall or ceiling.. Although, this doesn't work if the bouncing surface has color because then you'll introduce unwanted color into the frame.
Good point - sometimes filming in small spaces does not allow for large lights so I've also implemented the bounce method. It's also a good idea to pack a white sheet that you can tape to a wall in case the walls are not white.
@@JonathanRichey oh that's a great tip! Sometimes there's not enough room for softboxes, but being able to bounce into a white sheet that you brought would be helpful!!
I have used Rotolight’s electronic smart diffusion and metal grids on the Titan X2 and AEOS2 units. I have also used collapsible diffusion screens and reflectors to soften light and fill in the shadows.
@@JonathanRichey , Basically you can get about 2-2 1/2 stops of adjustable diffusion. It’s great for quick setup and adjustment. The Titan X2 is a 2x1 WWRGB panel that puts out a good amount of light. It is a heavy duty studio light. The AEOS2 and new ANOVA Pro3 lights are WWRGB single panel round format lights. The AEOS2 lights are highly portable and can work as continuous or flash mode lights. They are quite affordable used but a bit pricey unless you catch a sale. The AEOS2 can be powered off AC power or VMount battery. The ANOVA Pro3 is a more powerful, water resistant light that can also be powered off of AC power or two VMount batteries. Lots of info on RUclips. I have recently switched over to the WWRGB Rotolights. For me the advantage is the ability to integrate my lighting with the ambient light and to be able to minimize the filters and light modifiers that I need. I primarily do portraits and events.
I can agree that the video overall was too dark; I'm going to make some tweaks to my lighting and post-production process to provide a brighter, easier to watch video. Thanks for your feedback!
After rewatching the video, I can agree with that. I'll continue tweaking my lighting and post-production process to provide a brighter, easier to watch video. Thanks for the feedback!
What's the biggest lighting mistake you've ever made?

Thanks for the tips! I've never heard of electronic smart diffusion - I'll have to check that out. Thanks for watching.

good job man, thanks for that! i needed this for my videos. Ive been doing my lighting randomly and sometimes it comes out too harsh
The bigger and closer the light = softer light. Keep that in mind on your next lighting setup. Glad I could help!
Great Video
Thanks for watching! Let me know what questions you have about lighting.
Am I the only one that has no issue with how the "over exposed" clip looked at 0:19 seconds?
I can agree that the video overall was too dark; I'm going to make some tweaks to my lighting and post-production process to provide a brighter, easier to watch video. Thanks for your feedback!
Don’t you think your picture is by far too dark?
After rewatching the video, I can agree with that. I'll continue tweaking my lighting and post-production process to provide a brighter, easier to watch video. Thanks for the feedback!
But muh Rembrant!
This is a great video!
Thanks brother!
You’re way underexposed and you’re not shooting into the shadow side.
Thanks for the feedback. If you check out the video I released after this one, the lighting should be much better.
lol still gave good pointers
@@Kemstylebossy Thanks!
