Nice explanation and demo of sympathetic resonance. This will give a richer sound - especially when the sustain pedal is held (or silent notes are held). Thanks , Doug.

It actually works better if notes are held and silent but them you play other notes without the sustain, the sympathetic resonance kind of get lost if you are taking the damping of all the strings, all in all it just sounds more like a real acoustic piano 😊
