  • We would like to introduce Tommy Allison, head football coach at Walnut Grove High School in Prosper, Texas. Coach Allison was also the offensive coordinator for the Palestine High School football team during Adrian Peterson’s senior year.
    In this video, Coach Allison talks about the reason Adrian Peterson went to play football at the University of Oklahoma and not the University of Texas.

    Cedric Benson is a Texas legend and was a superstar RB for 4 years. RIP Cedric. Glad AP got to carry the rock for the Sooners. The rest is history.

    I guess we should be glad that Mack Beiwn didn’t try to bullshit him. I recall the Buckeyes not telling a recruit that his position coach that recruited him wasn’t leaving until right after he signed commitment papers.

    Adrian actually asked if he’d have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot and was told no. Big difference than wanting guaranteed playing time.
