@@vismortis That would not matter if Voldemort actually reached his his potential aka not do 7 horcrux and not get his original body destroyed , those things severaly weakened him, As wizards age they seem to become more powerful so the fact that Dumbledore was a good 50 years older gives him an obvious advantage, even Dumbledore admitted that Voldemort was the most brilliant student in Hogworts and both were students there so this also implies that Voldemort had the potential to become even more powerful than Dumbledore (and imo he did surpass him in the first war until the moment he got killed by plot , interestingly enough Dumbledore had to answer to Voldemort that time, they just simply got lucky and won)
Dumbledore and Grindelwald had a three hout long epic duel. Dumbledore and Voldemort threw hands for about 10 minutes, before he ran out of tactics, was seen and had to run. Clearly even at old age, Dumbledore was still stronger than Voldemort.
It doesn't even matter that it was without audio, but the second that idiot Fudge utters, "He's back!" every TIME I cannot help but shout, "NO SHIT, CORNELIUS!" Every time.
I have a question. When you said he went to Azkaban to free his loyal companions and the dementors were willing to obey him. What if they didn't? He cannot produce a patronus charm. So what could he do if they didn't obey him?
Voldemort did not go to Azkaban, the dementors broke them out and defected to Voldemort, because as dumbledore explains at the end of the Goblet of Fire “ they will not remain loyal to you fudge they will join him the instant he asks them to, Voldemort can offer them more scope for their powers and pleasures than you can”. The dementors joined Voldemort and helped the break out of the death eaters.
If I remember correctly, It was a Love Potion Toms mother gave to His father to make him love her, however in the harry potter Lore, this comes at a serious Cost. If the two have a Child, the child will be born without the ability to understand or have themselves feel Love in any form permanently. and since Tom/Voldemort was conceived before Toms Father was freed from the Potions Control, Voldemort would pay the price of his mother using a Love potion, His own ability to feel, understand or reciprocate love itself, the power of Love to which ironically would become his downfall.
I don't know the books but in the movies I think they failed to make him seem very powerful at all. He comes off as being bold because he's immortal, once he loses that and has to fight on equal terms as everyone else for the first time he gets destroyed instantly lol
15:42 - That is not a goblin xD That's Dobby, a house elf. Goblins are the ones that work at Gringots and I'm assuming other aspects of world. They face similar but separate issues, mostly in that house elves are functionally enslaved where as goblins are mostly just restricted from wand use and have differing views over ownership of individual works/output.
Remember when the deatheaters destroy the millenial bridge? ...before it was build 😅 How did i not know about his daughter?! ._. Since Neville destroyed the very last horcrux, maybe there really were 2 promised kids.
There needs to be a revamp/restart of the Wizarding World Universe, start with a re-do of the Harry Potter movies but this time as a series and have each season be a book/movie. Then do spin off movies like one on Voldemort, one of the First Wizarding War, one on the Global Wizarding War, and what makes sense
Naruto manga released in 1999. JK Rowling started writing Harry potter between 1990-95. Both featured a main villain who is basically part snake, who didnt have parents growing up. Both villains craved immortality through heinous means (Orochimaru taking over other peoples bodies and experimenting on captured ninja, Voldemort splitting his soul into 7 pieces by murdering). Both villains showed no regard or love for their former masters (Third Hokage and Dumbledore). Coincidence, probably. Kishimoto was never really inspired by JK Rowling but the writing shows alot of similarities.

I have a different Voldy origin theory.. I think Tom Riddle (the muggle) was a rich landowner, and a heal of a person; a true narcissist. Merope Gaunt was a poor, low-intelligence, girl, who (from his POV) lived in a rathole of a house, either on or next to his family's estate, whose (again from his POV) care givers (brother and father) were suddenly missing and she obviously alone, lonely, unchaperoned, and had an obvious crush on the handsome landlord (himself). She only became increasingly smitten if he paid her any attention at all. I think he took advantage of her as a lark~ perhaps abusing her attentions to kill an idle afternoon's itch now and again, to him she was a plaything to be used, but she then came up pregnant, as will happen now and again. As was the expected custom {of the time} he did marry her to legitimize the pregnancy, and perhaps he even thought he had become somewhat fond of his victim, in a way, the way one becomes fond of a pet; until just before her father and brother were due to be released from Azkaban, she then confessed to him of her being a witch, and they wizards; with perhaps a further warning that they may not look favorably on their marriage and the mixed blood offspring~ perhaps even performing some low level~ spot on the wall~ spell to convince him (as she wasn't especially skilled as a witch). He would then assume she had ensorcelled him, any fond feelings he may have developed were the result of some spell or brew... And now he could blame any past bad behavior on his part on her magic... He didn't take advantage because he was a heal, His excuse now was...Her Magic Made Me Do It... And That's Why He Left Her When He Did. Tom Riddle inherited his muggle-father's looks, intelligence, as well as his narcissistic personality; receiving only his magical abilities from his mother. Merope Gaunt was a low IQ witch, with limited skills and education, she didn't have the abilities required to make a love potion, and she didn't have the financial resources to buy one.
he was born a devil wizard spawn because of an unstable but abuse mother who was a victim ended up making things by forced of falling in love only to backfired and died. that is just wow.
Dumbledore did tell Tom that it’s not a common gift to speak to snakes and you showed dobby as a goblin dobby is a house elf…lestrange didn’t set a curse on the hufflepuff cup to duplicate and burn that was part of the banks security for older family vaults.
Ah, Riddle, the boy who was born in to a world their noone even tried to give him love and himself was born without the ability of feeling love or friendship and probably a handful of inbreed sicknesses. And it went as it went.
He really shot himself in the foot with that immortality only living a normal lifespan . Most of it was spent floating as a fetus after Harry blew him up that first time 😂
38:40 Dumbledore was able to "hold his own"? In the books Dumbledore dominated and played with Lord Voldemort with EASE (except one tiny moment when Fawkes saved Dumbledore by swallowing avada kedavra)
Thankfully Ominis broke the Gaunt family tradition of having a violent and unstable personality. Although, I would assume he's blind due to the inbreeding.
The Akatsuki would give him a tough time, maybe if he had his entire Death Eater army. Anyone else above those power levels obliterate him. They may not find and destroy the horcruxes but they can rip him to shreds or incapacitate him.
@@jackmarlon9102 Actually I slightly misinterpreted it, yeah if he was BORN in their world, then I guess his ambitions would be very similar to Orochimaru's. Wanting to become the most powerful shinobi with the biggest amount of power and jutsu instead of the most powerful wizard.

@Subrata Nandy yeah but she was animagus who was given a blood curse that turned her into a maledictus. She could only ever turn into a snake, and now she's simply stuck as one forever
I really want to know that if Morphin and Marvolo Gaunt were not arrested, and Merope hadn't left for Riddle, if Marvolo would've made his own children inbreed?
I don't think so? I heard somewhere that he thought his daughter was a squib, due to inability to perform magic with a wand?? But it also could be possible because she was being physically and mentally abused, she couldn't do magic.
@@savannahbutler5973 Marvolo thought she was a squib and she couldn't perform proper magic because she was abused, right? But then she brewed a love potion which most likely means she had some magical abilities unless someone made that potion for her, which I highly doubt. And Marvolo Gaunt was all about pure bloodedness, he most like didn't have any other good relationship with another pure blooded family, and considering his financial state, it's unlikely that any other pure blooded family would have his daughter. Still, not one hundred percent sure, it was just a train of thoughts.
I really love the films, even for theeir differences to the books, but I do think because of the nature of film making, they do a small diservice to showing Voldemort's overall abilities as a wizard. People think of Grindelwald being more powerful simply because they say that Voldemort just spams Avada Kedavra, but he is obviously much more capable than he is portrayed, and I don't think Avada Kedavra, or any other spell in the series are just easy to cast like it's some video game. The films just didn't have enough time to do the character complete justice, although his portrayal in the films is still awesome, and iconic to say the least. It's probably nearly impossible to do the character complete justice without making a solo film about his entire life. The books did it a bit better, but even then it was more about the plot and the character himself, and less about the complete demonstration of all of Voldemort's abilities. Most of his abilities are second hand accounts. Still, he is one of the greatest characters ever imagined, and Harry's complete opposite in every way. The spells he does cast in the books, and films are not meant to be as simple as they seem, especially since Harry Potter uses a soft magic system similar to LOTR.
Harry Potter can also speak snake tongue. Because the killing spell failed on him when the dark wizard tried to kill him as a child. Lily (the mother) loved her son so much that she protected him with a spell and she also jumped in front of Harry Potter, but the sad thing was that she died. Her husband James (the father) also did not survive. Instead, Harry Potter only got a scar on his forehead. And this is the hocruxus Voldermort was not meant to make.
I feel like Voldemort could have broken grindelwald out and he would have had a good ally, Even through Grindelwald was in a old state. Grindelwald once already broken out of jail after severe beating and everything, And they could have taken over the world together, As Dumbledore and Grindelwald decided to do back then. Even then, Voldemort could have made more horcruxes and been immortal, Making Grindelwald unable to turn on him and kill him without him going back to the non physical form, Unless they find the horcruxes. If Grindelwald didn’t betray him though, They probably could have made the second global wizarding war as in his prime, Grindelwald was strong than Voldemort, As Grindelwald defended against basically the entire auror department of Macusa unaided if it weren’t for Newt Scamander, While Voldemort could barely defend against three skilled aurors. They could easily overpower everyone and rule the world

@@6ftmouse349 And until his death he was the master of the Elder Wand.

I have a question. When you said he went to Azkaban to free his loyal companions and the dementors were willing to obey him. What if they didn't? He cannot produce a patronus charm. So what could he do if they didn't obey him?
Perhaps he could be immune to them, to considers that he divided his soul in the Horcruxes, making that he hasn't a soul that the Dementors can suck.
@@josecuestas7246 I suppose. Thanks.
He never doubted that the dementors would follow him cuz they feed and thrive on pain and dispair and they knew voldemort would cause the most of that
They suck up your happiness, I'm not sure he could feel it in the 1st place lol
Voldemort did not go to Azkaban, the dementors broke them out and defected to Voldemort, because as dumbledore explains at the end of the Goblet of Fire “ they will not remain loyal to you fudge they will join him the instant he asks them to, Voldemort can offer them more scope for their powers and pleasures than you can”.
The dementors joined Voldemort and helped the break out of the death eaters.
If I remember correctly, It was a Love Potion Toms mother gave to His father to make him love her, however in the harry potter Lore, this comes at a serious Cost.
If the two have a Child, the child will be born without the ability to understand or have themselves feel Love in any form permanently. and since Tom/Voldemort was conceived before Toms Father was freed from the Potions Control, Voldemort would pay the price of his mother using a Love potion, His own ability to feel, understand or reciprocate love itself, the power of Love to which ironically would become his downfall.

there's a boy named Ominous Gaunt in Slytherin house. no doubt an ancestor of Tom.
Yes thats true but he’s the complete opposite of him
A tom riddle spin off would be perfect great video you deserve more views and subscribers
I don't know the books but in the movies I think they failed to make him seem very powerful at all. He comes off as being bold because he's immortal, once he loses that and has to fight on equal terms as everyone else for the first time he gets destroyed instantly lol
Thank you very much.
I feel like this video has filled much of the gaps left the movies.
15:42 - That is not a goblin xD
That's Dobby, a house elf. Goblins are the ones that work at Gringots and I'm assuming other aspects of world. They face similar but separate issues, mostly in that house elves are functionally enslaved where as goblins are mostly just restricted from wand use and have differing views over ownership of individual works/output.

Editor clearly doesn't know what goblins and house elves look like.
Because that's a house elf on the right, not a goblin.
And it's not even any random house elf either, it's Dobby 🤦♀
Worded a bit rude
After 20 years, i just realized harry is a half-blood even though both his parents are magical 💩
Yeah, but Lily was muggleborn so she did not have magical parents, which is why he is a Half-blood.
The status stuff is nothing more than classism anyway. It’s a way for so called ‘purebloods’ to show that they’re ‘superior’ compared to anyone else. Nothing more than bigotry.
Actually Harry's mother was a muggle with great magical skills that's why she went to Hogwarts just like Hermione

Voldemort and Credence have more raw power than anyone.. especially Voldemort. Dude almost broke the elderwand 😂
the elderwand breaking had nothing to do with his amount of power and everything to do with it not being loyal to him and him not being the "owner" of the wand.

These should be in a podcast. I don’t need the images just the story.
Would explain why Tom can't feel cuz his parents relationship was not built on love
I was thinking about this video earlier today!
Anyone notice how they put Dobby (a house elf) and said goblin???
he was born a devil wizard spawn because of an unstable but abuse mother who was a victim ended up making things by forced of falling in love only to backfired and died. that is just wow.
Voldemort,s abilities
Dumbledore did tell Tom that it’s not a common gift to speak to snakes and you showed dobby as a goblin dobby is a house elf…lestrange didn’t set a curse on the hufflepuff cup to duplicate and burn that was part of the banks security for older family vaults.
Ah, Riddle, the boy who was born in to a world their noone even tried to give him love and himself was born without the ability of feeling love or friendship and probably a handful of inbreed sicknesses. And it went as it went.
Millennials: OH YESS ARE YOU READY
He already did two Horcruxes, when was asking Slughorn.
He really shot himself in the foot with that immortality only living a normal lifespan . Most of it was spent floating as a fetus after Harry blew him up that first time 😂
38:40 Dumbledore was able to "hold his own"? In the books Dumbledore dominated and played with Lord Voldemort with EASE
(except one tiny moment when Fawkes saved Dumbledore by swallowing avada kedavra)
Voldemort was blitzing Dumbledore with spells.
Thankfully Ominis broke the Gaunt family tradition of having a violent and unstable personality. Although, I would assume he's blind due to the inbreeding.
What if Voldemort was born in Naruto's world?
The Akatsuki would give him a tough time, maybe if he had his entire Death Eater army. Anyone else above those power levels obliterate him. They may not find and destroy the horcruxes but they can rip him to shreds or incapacitate him.
@@giberr6628 if he is born in Naruto's world... he would also have access to chakra and jutsus

I've always wondered about Bertha Jorkins, and whether Voldemort used her for more than just information. Where did the baby Voldemort in the beginning of GoF come from? Could JKR have had a darker plot for Bertha, but ditched it because some might consider it too offensive for a children's book?

Unaware of connection? He implanted a false sight of Mr Weasley in the Ministry... He was very aware of a connection.
I would take a Voldemort movie it’d be better than The Joker
Wouldn’t mind a prequel series that followed Voldemort from beginnings to when he fell at baby Harry
i thought harry was the owner of all three deathly hallows making him a master of death, thus he didnt die when voldy hit him with avada kedavra.
So when did the harry potter cursed child movie come out because I have not seen that yet
