    It is so wonderful. It has helped me so much. I still have food cravings, and still have joy of food. But I can't eat much. My brain just tells me I am full.

    Tom, I hate to break it to you, but The Original Pancake House (while a nice breakfast experience) is a national chain of restaurants. They have 90 locations across the US. You don’t have to wait until Michigan to eat there again. 😂

    We are designed to go through periods of feast and famine. Denying a basic drive to eat has a cost in itself, and the inability to do it can be life destroying.

    Relevant info as to why I watched the whole thing: A) Love me some croissants. B) Ryan makes me belly laugh. C) Going to see his show in town. D) There is zero information out there about Ryan's new show. Is it "Happy Face: Part Deux," what?
    Made it to: "chocolate croissants." (Apart from Tom's pastry stats,) still know nothing. Still going.

    Ryan, the only thing a man needs for a healthy mind is the mantra: “Nope, that’s not me, that’s not who I am.”, this is for when you begin to entertain negative/intrusive thoughts. 🤣 But seriously, it cured me of 40 years of societal/Mormon angst and guilt. 😉

    Oh Tom, the bad news about Ozempic has come out, and it's YIKES!

    • @JorgTheElder
      @JorgTheElder 8 месяцев назад +1

      Sorry, but that is FUD. The problems it helps solve can save the lives of orders of magnitude more people that are likely to need to deal with the rare side effects. Here is the opinion of a doctor familiar with the study that was reported back in October: She said the rare side effects do not scare her as much as the health conditions that come from obesity or being overweight.
      “I can go into the hospital, have pancreatitis treated and stop taking the medication,” Levy said. “But if I die of a heart attack, no it doesn’t work.”

      Ozempic was meant for Diabetics!
      It’s a shame people can con their doctors into taking Diabetics medication.
      My sister hasn’t been able to get the medication she needs, because of wealthier people’s desire to be thin ‘with a shot’, versus doing the hard work of eating healthier, smaller meals throughout the day, and actual exercise.
