I've been stuck inside over the pond in Australia as a heatwave prevents me doing much else and I've listened to your live covers of Billy Joel time and time again (probably close to 10 times in one day) and they never get old. You add an energy to the music that is otherwise lost when the orchestra is taken away. Well done mate.
What a voice! What talent! Piano EXTRODINAIRE. Your musicianship is Dynamite. Love the two fisted technique. Did I mention excellent phrasing. I wish you the best!
You got my jaw flat out on the floor! Amazing talent you got Michael Cavanaugh! Never heard you before and I'm glad, I found your channel. Thanks to RUclips's algorithm!
WHERE have I been? My first time hearing/seeing you sing! I’m smitten! I’ve seen BJ 4 times in concert (once with Sir Elton!) I’m a 73 year old Gramma in San Antonio. I plan on seeing you when you come here with our symphony. I think you are BRILLIANT (and utterly adorable!) RMH 🌹
Watching this video (esp on how you play the piano, the symphonic arrangement and the contagious enjoyable expression) and listening to this cover gives me positive energy every time! Thanks for this uplifting and reinvigorating cover. Michael!
This video is A+ AMAZING! All I can do is sit here exclaiming "WHAT?! Who is this guy, how does he only have 1800 videos for such a fabulous video?" The band and vocals, the orchestra, the arrangement, the audio mix, the video edit - all exceptional! I would say this performance and production is on caliber with Sting's Live in Berlin orchestra tour Blu-Ray! My only wish really is that the video was high-def.
Thanks Nathan! Speaking of Sting, his orchestrator is a friend of mine. Rob Mathes is his name and he did the string arrangement for my cover of "She's Got a Way" Hop you like it :) ruclips.net/video/3WZEdBfsv2A/видео.html
My memorable and touching song in 1993 when I was struggling in the Uni. That was my motivation to go through. Thank you Michael for bringing the song back. I even could not remember the title of the song.
Sandra Cade That is the Corona (CA) Symphony Pops Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Walt Straiton. We had such a fantastic time performing this show with Michael and his awesome band. That's me getting to play the timpani solo ☺

1:02 Nice to see Jamie Lanister doing music now
Must be hard to play with only one hand
2:18 don't forget about Kevin James
He reminds me more Tom Cruise
Adorei sua versão. Não tinha ouvido nada a seu respeito, mas adorei a "novidade" e não paro de ouvir. Muito bom, obrigado.
Obrigado :)
What a great cover! The instruments in the background make a huge difference
Thank you Jeff!
Nice rendition
During hard times and sad moments, I just listened to this cover version. Very uplifting, Michael!
🙏
Love your voice!
I liked this before I watch the video cause I knew it was going to be goooood
In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
From the mountains of faith
To the river so deep
I must be looking for something
Something sacred I lost
But the river is wide
And it's too hard to cross
Even though I know the river is wide
I walk down every evening and I stand on the shore
I try to cross to the opposite side
So I can finally find out what I've been looking for
In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the valley of fear
To a river so deep
I've been searching for something
Taken out of my soul
Something I'd never lose
Something somebody stole
I don't know why I go walking at night
But now I'm tired and I don't want to walk anymore
I hope it doesn't take the rest of my life
Until I find what it is that I've been looking for
In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the jungle of doubt
To a river so deep
I know I'm searching for something
Something so undefined
That it can only be seen
By the eyes of the blind
In the middle of the night
I'm not sure about a life after this
God knows I've never been a spiritual man
Baptized by the fire, I wade into the river
That runs to the promised land
In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night
Top...
❤❤❤
