the first time i went to dubai i skated around the streets away from the touristy areas and i was eating very similar meals at local restaurants for only a couple of bucks and big 1liter bottles of water were only 20 cents when they would be $3-4 easily in nyc

I was born and raised in Dubai for 19 years. My father build this city from ground up. He says it was complete desert everything 30 years ago and later contributed a lot building towers, Burj Khalifa, and twin towers on Sheikh Zayed Rd. Man Oh Man I miss this place ever since moved to USA. wish they country could offer citizenship to Pakistanis and outsiders.
After this covid is over I'm going to vacation in Dubai
