People don't know this, but Carmelo used to be great at scoring on and defending Bron. His efficiency went up against him, and he could slow him down on the other end. Problem was he couldn't get his teammates involved. There was a stat on this in a 2013 or 2014 game with the head-to-head. They highlighted postups too. It was surprising
I use to say Melo was Bron hardest matchup that’s over KD,Kobe,Paul Pierce and who ever else. Seems like Melo had the perfect combination of size,speed,power and strength to matchup.
Yea Melo always showed his full all around potential against LeBron and Kobe. He just didn't have that diehard mindset competitively for every game.
