- In this 7-day violin course, we will be covering everything you need to know to start playing the violin. Save it and come back each day for your next lesson! 🎻

🚀 We will begin by learning how to hold the bow (this is one of the most challenging parts of violin playing!). The next day, you'll learn to play your first notes and can start to feel the joy of playing the violin. You'll then learn to use your fourth finger to play the first part of the classical song "Ode to Joy".
✨ On day 4 you will learn how to play string crossings (to make sure that it doesn't sound scratchy) and your first violin scale: the G Major scale. On day 5 I'll introduce you to the concept of bow distribution and explain how it is related to the rhythm of a piece. On days 6 and 7 we will continue with the piece "Ode to Joy".
🎼 By the end of this 7-day violin course you will be able to play "Ode to Joy" by Beethoven on the violin! This course is an easy and fun first step into the world of violin playing. By the end, you'll know the basics and will be able to play your first song. 🤩

Chest rest. I like that. Very good instruction on where to place it on the violin. And very good instruction on holding the bow. I struggle with that. And I just subscribed to your channel. You go into detail and I like the way you illustrate the music on the screen: which fingers to use and whether to play the G, D, A or E string. Very good clarity on your lessons.
