3. Dune 2 (not a real hype but I'm very curious)
4. Joker 2 (same as Dune 2 but I loved the first Joker)

Dude! Karate Kid!!!
I'm loving Cobra Kai so much right now. I've already watched it through once before and I'm watching through it again. It's just so comforting. I also loved the one with Jackie Chan. Can you imagine Daniel Larusso teaming up with Mr Han?? that sounds freaking AMAZING!!! I am so pumped.

I'm extremely excited for Horizon as well, western is one of my favourite genres.
Also, (I'm Lithuanian so I watch some Lithuanian films as well) some of my favourite Lithuanian directors Romas Zabarauskas and Algirdas Gurevičius are releasing new films this year 'The Writer', 'Aktyvistas', 'Islandija: Paklydę Dykumoje', so I'm overjoyed. Also, Aurimas Valujavičius is releasing probably up till now the biggest documentary made in Lithuania, 'Irklais per Atlantą' so excited for that one too.
Yea, it seems that almost all the films that I am looking forward to are local releases.

Deadpool 3 is my most anticipated film this year! Sonic 3 is in second place! Cobra Kai is my favorite Netflix show!

10. Kraven the Hunter (This film could be garbage like Morbius, but I am mainly interested in this movie because I want to see the fight scene between Kraven and Rhino. That is the fight scene that I didn't know that I needed! If anything, it might be so bad, that it is entertaining. I don't know.)
9. A Quiet Place: Day One (I have loved both Quiet Place movies. I am a bit disappointed that they didn't try and move forward with a direct sequel to the 2nd film immediately, but I love the concept of this movie. The idea of it taking place in New York has the potential for more action, and suspenseful scenes. Bring it on!)
8. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (Ghostbusters: Afterlife was such a surprise. That film was even better than I could've dreamed it being. I have to be honest though, the trailer for Frozen Empire did not impress me that much. I am a person who hates it when a political messages (Regardless of which side it is) is forced into a film, to the point where the political message is more focused on than actually crafting a decent story line for the movie. I am giving this movie a chance though, because I am curious to see how they handle this new villain, even if I am a little disappointed the villain is not Vigo from the 2nd film, and because it still has the main cast from the previous films.)
7. Garfield (I am a fan of the fat, lazy, Monday hating, tabby cat. I grew up reading the Garfield comics, and this film looks like it will take me back to being a kid again. The director of this movie directed one of my favorite animated movies of all time, The Emperor's New Groove. So, while I know it won't even come close to being that good, I am hoping that it is a fun time for me and the family.)
6. Rebel Moon: Part 2: (I surprisingly enjoyed Rebel Moon more than I thought I would. Now that the foundation has been laid, I am ready for Zack Snyder to go all out in the next one. More action scenes, and more interesting plot twists that the movie will undoubtedly have.)
5. Venom 3 (I am probably one of the few who enjoyed Venom: Let There Be Carnage. I know it wasn't that good of a movie, I just really enjoyed watching Carnage and Venom go at it for the first time on the big screen. I am really interested to see what kind of direction they go with in this movie. I also hope the villain is fun, and entertaining.)
4. Transformers One (A Transformers film that is set on Cybertron, SIGN ME UP! Me and my sister have watched every Transformers film in theaters, and this will be no exception. We are interested in seeing how they will handle the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron. The only thing that worries me and my sister is the fact that they did not bring back the original voice actors of Optimus and Megatron. I really hope the new guys work out, but that is a cause for concern for the both of us.)
3. Kung Fu Panda 4 (This is a film that I will probably either love or hate. This movie's success hinges on how Po's character development goes, and how the writers handle the return of Tai Lung. I am a fan of the franchise, and Dreamworks has surprised me before, look no further than Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.)
2. Dune: Part 2 (By all means, I should have Dune: Part 2 as my number 1 most anticipated movie of this year because I read the book, but that is why it is number 2. I know what is going to happen. I have read the first three books, and I am currently on the 4th book right now. But if the movie is a faithful adaptation of the second half of the book, this movie will probably be my favorite film of next year. If they put a certain scene from the book into the movie, Zendaya may get her first Oscar nomination. I am also counting on Chalamet getting an Oscar nomination as well.)
1. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (I am so excited for this movie. I got such a thrill when the post credits scene showed Shadow the Hedgehog inside of that tank. This looks to be the most ambitious film of the series, and I am looking forward to seeing how else they expand the Sonic universe with this movie.)

Yes Brandon, really looking forward to where they take this new Karate Kid movie. I'm assuming that Ralph Macchio wouldn't be involved if the script was crap because he's so protective of the franchise. Also looking forward to the Stunt Guy with Ryan Gosling. PS: Cobra Kai Never Dies!

Karate Kid series of original are my Best movies of all time. Of course I also love Cobra Kai. However, I have some concerns about the new Karate Kid movie. There are several reasons for this, but the first is that the main character is a Chinese character who uses kung fu. This is announced at the main character's application audition. In other words, the main thing is kung fu, and karate may be a secondary. And the movie has nothing to do with Netflix's Cobra Kai. Jon Hurwitz, one of the show's directors, said on Twitter that the new movie will have no connection to Cobra Kai. Furthermore, the Cobra Kai directors didn't mention it at all on Twitter when this movie was announced. For these reasons, there is a possibility that it will become a multiverse-like work that has nothing to do with Cobra Kai, which is a wonderful drama that respects the original work. I'm worried that this movie will be a money-making production that messes with the original story. I don't like The karate kid of 2010. But I respect Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith's Karate Kid and the fans of that movie. But i just don't understand why Mr.Miyagi and Daniel's Karate Kid are forced to connect with Jackie's Karate Kid. I hope Sony respects the Karate Kid of original and Cobra Kai, which are kind, humble, and cool.

What about the New Crow movie Brandon? Have you seen the Trailer? A lot of people are already hating on the movie because it looks like a cheap RIP off of the original I liked the trailer and I'll go see it but with very low Expectations because I know that no other Crow movie will ever be as good as the first and that Brandon Lee tragically died while Filming makes the movie even more special RIP Brandon Lee.

I think 2024 has become a drought of a year for movies because of the Hollywood strikes last year. Bunch of movies got delayed and pushed back to 2025. I’m looking forward to Dune 2 and Furiosa. I doubt Beyond the Spider Verse will come out this year since the animators are still working hard on it, but either way it’s my most anticipated movie right now for the near future.

@@BrandoCritic I understand that, I am to trust me. Tbh, I’m just really hoping Beyond the Spider Verse delivers lol. No matter how long it takes to release, whether it’s 2025, 2026, 2027, or even 2028, I just hope that the directors and animators deliver and make arguably one of the greatest trilogies of all time, at least in my opinion.
Hey Brandon, I think I'm interested in going to see Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (2024) in December because I enjoyed the first two Sonic films and I hope it is as good as its predecessors despite that Jim Carrey is not returning because he is considering retiring from acting.

@@BrandoCritic I wouldn't be surprised if Jim Carrey came out of retirement to return for Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (2024) because if Hayao Miyazaki came out of retirement to make The Boy and the Heron (2023), so can Jim, only time will tell if he comes out of retirement or not.
I’m looking forward to Dune chapter two, A Quiet Place; Day One, Wicked part 1, Godzilla X Kong, and the remake of Nosferatu.
