i am decibel too i can't walk or talk but I understand everything I am normal in my mind like any other person. And I have a computer that works with my eyes so thanks. Because we don't have the chance of going out on a date. But I am so thankful for my mom and dad and my brothers.
I'm pretty sure I'm autistic too, because people treat me different in the way I talk. Many have called me Forrest Gump and I'm crushed to this day. 40 years old in a prison cell because society doesn't understand us. Never dated, never really socialized, and I'm one of the nicest people out there. All I ever wanted to do was to live a normal life in peace. I'm convinced I wasn't meant to be born. I serve no purpose and God is either naive or just doesn't care. I don't want to exist after this life ends. 😪

I hear you. I felt the same. I was bullied in school also. I didn't get to go to my Homecoming nor Prom. Nobody even asked me. I couldn't ask bc most of the girls had bfs and dates. The other girls were picky and mean to me. Only God was the only one with me through those years 👍
I saw they stay in contact & see how it goes. Plus their parents get together

Beautiful inside and out. Wonderful lady . Nice you man also. They made a cute couple in that pic . I busted my bf cheating & refused to go to the prom with him . I had 2 prom dates there was 2 guys in my grade who were so smart & autistic. They were my dates . We matched. I danced with both and had a blast. I won prom queen. Tg my ex didn't win king I didn't want to dance with him.
When I was a young man I had my eyes tested and said I needed glasses. I could see fine. I was always made fun of. I was always told no for Homecoming, Proms, ect. I would ask girls out on dates no go. To this day I suffer from major depression and social anxiety disorders. My parents made me suffer, Crying myself to sleep. I ditched the glasses at 18. The dating life sure changed, Sad that people won't except what is in the heart and nor what we look like

I still dont get why is it important in US to have smbd for a prom night. Graduation of school was never about having smbd to go with for a party for other parts of the world.😅
It used to be a ritual of coming of age, and for that you are supposed to demonstrate that you are socially able, as well. Which is BS, of course.
It depends on where you live. The high school I went to was in a city so naturally the culture is different. None of us felt pressured to date or even have a date for the prom. The concept seemed almost old school. Most of us go as friends while a few are in an actual relationship.
I’m pretty sure nobody from my school was involved in smbd in high school at all, dances or not. We’d all have heard if so - gossip city in that building.
It's like a pity invite because the girl does it to everyone else in a similar situation. It's like his a charity case
