Hope Jordy makes a good run this year. He's like the Buffalo Bills of surfing.
Not a close heat. Makes no sense that Jordy lost if you go by these highlights. Comparing Jordy’s turns that one manoeuvre for Igarashi got a bit of jazz hands points.
lol...yeah...you're not biased. Only a complete homer could look at that and think Jordy won. Even Jordy knows he didn't win.
8:28 looks like the water photographer kinda messed up Jordy's line...that's a huge mistake if so.

Igarashi freaking shreds! Dude is fun to watch
His style is, in my opinion, definitely one of the best on tour, if not the best. It would be nice to see him put it all together in a season and win a title.

Prefer Jordys power surfing
Why do your livestreams block comments? Who wants to watch a live stream on their own without being able to talk to other surfers in the chat at the same time? So cringe.
because they don’t want to see all the hate on Joe. and anyone else talking about surfing who should just say, maybe I’m not qualified for this.

Have you been there? It's just hatefully bile. You have to block 25 people before the talking is about the surf, and you have to do it every time.
I don't see the score here. Igarashi skips past four sections surfing completely lateral then hits a semi weak turn for a 7!
Smith blows up the whole face with a powerful smashing gouge and they put a 5 on it. So scripted
kanoa was totally over scored. jordy's surf was much better.
Looks like today they score wave quality over surfing. Seen it this whole past year.
"Semi weak" is an insane way to describe that turn, he couldn't have been going faster or put more rail in on that section, he barely even slowed down at all through the turn and he air dropped on the re entry. I much prefer jordys surfing but that was a 7 all day, deserved more imo.
haha....Smith's wave was small. Take off the homer goggles.
Kanoas first 7.0 was underscored imo. One of the sickest turns of the contest, so much speed throught the entire turn, and an air drop reentry.
7 for one turn is pretty fair. If he didn't get stuck it would have flowed better maybe half a point higher.
Because the entire WSL CF has gotten so totally cringe😬
