Lucy and Ginger , old friends from their early RKO days, were still in pretty decent shape at this point in time!

Was Lucy Jr. ever a model? She looks like she would have been a good one.

Well, after doing a little looking, ‘ole Ginger certainly was no angel; five husbands? Did she belong to the Elizabeth Taylor club for men? Yikes! Of course, Lucy’s television shows plainly show they were deteriorating to the point (of downright stupid) and the only choices left were to dig up yet another ancient actress (she already dealt with drunk Joan Crawford) and hoped it helped her sagging ratings and waning Interest. Bad choice. Lastly, even Fred Astaire’s widow wouldn’t even help old Genji out come sad, token award time. Some friends.

Ginger Rogers may have not saved the show, but I don't think it was a bad choice to have her on. If she hadn't been, then we wouldn't have had this magnificent clip to watch to this very day and beyond.
