I’ve had this exact model for a month and I love all the features you get for the price. Wish I had an ABC function casio like this when I was in the Marines 16 yrs ago. In sunlight the Negative LCD is great! Low ambient/ dim light can be a pain to read but you have the auto illumination function or can simply wait a fraction of a second to press the LCD illumination button. After all, Tyler Rake sports this beast in Extraction lol.
Is that the carbon fiber strap? My strap was damaged. I looked for the same strap online but i can't find one so i changed it with another strap made of nylon.
No. It's not carbon fiber. I will look for reference number. Here is a brand new original strap with case. www.etsy.com/listing/1030819204/casio-original-g-shock-band-gw-9400-3-gw
I owned this watch for a week. I thought I'd like it since I'm deep into shooting sports. But.... I couldn't get over 1. Fake bolts that don't do anything and rotate freely 2. Shiny buttons with gimping, would never make its way on a military person's wrist. 3. Negative lcd is honestly... very difficult to read 4. Temperature reading would only be accurate if you remove the watch The nail in the coffin was that it turned black wherever it touched my rain jacket and wouldn't come off. I want to live more g shocks... but i feel regular plain old casio feels more authentic in many cases. (Says the guy with 6 g socks :p)
I like it. I owned the black one. First time experiencing the green. Would the black rubber of the rain jacket rub the watch hard enough to leave black rubber on the watch? Wow. Reminds me of when black rubber sole shoes leave black rubber residue on wooden basketball courts. Coaches would bever let us wear black sole shoes.
@@WINDINGCROWNS I think it was almost like a chemical reaction or the color of my jacket wore onto the watch. Within 1 week, every corner of the watch was black. I tried washing it off and it wouldn't come off. So amazon honored the return. Never had that on any other watch, but I didn't have any colored watches at the time. I think the things I disliked are fixable and perhaps minor. But they all fall under the category of "inauthentic" which really rubbed me the wrong way.
I have this one, but i prefer the standard black, it’s cooler when aging.
Jake, I have had the black too. Its great.

I 💯 agree. This is a great looking tough watch. I love the negative display. Makes it look cooler. 😎
Such a great piece, loving it in the green 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks. Its a cool looking hunk of a watch
That's definitely a tough looking watch! Thanks for showing it Hector.
Thanks Dean. Its an awesome watch
Really like this one, especially in green.
Thanks. I really like the green as well
Awesome G-Shock 👌 color is great
Thanks Sixkiller! That military Olive green is sweet. Thanks for 👀
Hey-is this worth it for someone going into military potentially?
Super cool....!
@@szabolcsgarabuczi7711 thanks 🙏
Negative display is terrible, but it does look very cool.
I agree.
I have the gshock king in negative and its pretty legible, i wanna buy this with negative display but ive heard a few complaints on the visibility.
I don't have any problems reading the time. I love negative displays.
@@WINDINGCROWNS yeah me to, I just was unsure as from what I heard with this model

Eg. I don't think a hard to read watch is that bad, but on a "military" themed watch, it just seemed like the wrong choice.
@@aussieexpat I concur
gw9400 Mud proof?
Oh yeah 👍👍👍👍
Whats your wrist size?
7.5 inches. This is a great watch. Its big though but it gets a pass. 😁👍
Green neg display or nothing ❤
