I have a split red and green filter, which balances out the values. For instance, when you showed the mountain/forest scene, I determine using the red for the trees and foreground and the green for the sky...better value balance than just one colour.
Thanks, John. I have a bunch of old pairs of 3D glasses (Cardboard) and I cut off the ear pieces and use that. I tried the red side but ultimately like you describe the green is better at showing the most values.
