This song has been made in honour of an Ethiopian patriot named Belay Zelleke. He was leading more than 30 thousand Ethiopian freedom fighters against the Italian invading forces between 1936 and 1942. I wrote the lyrics in memory of Belay Zelleke and the vocalist Yezina Negash performed it.
