Im no dating coach but i think one reason you are supposed to start first dates small, is to not put pressure on the other person. You writing a love song , renting a house(vacation ) is way way to much.This girl barely knows of your existence and you confessing such strong emotions out of the blue can be a huge pressure one someone. I would have stopped the date at the park visit ,painting (very good idee), and then getting some ice cream and then going home to process everything that happened.
