I think he got lost in chaos of the world, many actors and musicians find themselves very lonely in searching through relationships for fulfillment. Sorry this young soul perished so early. But when people are like that it's usually because they are trying really hard to be, trying to fill an inner void and it's not sustainable. When this wears off you get an even worse version of who they actually are. So yeah Michael then probably hit the drugs harder.

I watched the Big Breakfast every morning before school. I think I may have watched this one. They are both smitten, thats obvious but the heartache that is to come is devastating. Such a sad outcome for everyone.
They’d been having an affair on & off for years prior to this interview. All this interview did was expose it and Michael wasn’t the only one she’d had a string of affairs behind Bob Geldoffs back. It’s Bobs own fault because this is what happens when you marry some random junkie groupie that pick up after one of your gigs. Paula Yates was an untalented shitstain on society and Michael Hutchance was a washed up 80’s rock star who made one great album and a few shitty ones. Even in 1994 times and music had changed and no one had really given a shit about INXS in years.

I've read all six books on Michael and you are correct. They had just been together the night b-4 in his hotel. She was the one who disguised her voice and called the papers so they would find them at the Halkin Hotel and then at Chilston in the country. She wanted to engineer a final breakup with Helena and it worked because it was all out in the open and Helena wasn't havin' it. Poor Helena and Bob. Paula was a real piece of work. She chased him all over the world for years. And yes Michael never met aa drug he didn't like fav ravs were heroin, opium, Ecstasy and blow!! And really really really kinky sex. Polaroids of them in latex with cut out holes she at one point playing the man and Michael the woman if you know what I mean. I always thought Michael was bi and a little fey. This wasn't anything Michael didn't talk a lot about. He was really addicted to kinky sex

You can benchmark it atleast from the conception of Pixie Geldof (aka Pixie Hutchence) which would have made it late '89/early '90 as Pixie was born in September of 1990. In all probability it most likely started around the year of "The Tube" interview which was in '85 or '86.
Not sure how many know. Michael suffered a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). After his injury, he experienced incredible physiological and cognitive losses - even if it doesn't seem that way. I know. IMHO his TBI hijacked his life and led to Michael's premature passing. So very sad.
Michael speaks to a “ Bob” on the set . About why they were releasing a”best of” album. Idk if it’s Geldof. I know Geldolf produced this show for his wife. So as “producer” it stands to reason he could be on set at times.
I know, it was very unfair to her husband and children. I remember watching it at the time and feeling very uncomfortable. And kudos to Bob Geldof for adopting their daughter.

All round, ended in absolute tragedy. Drugs, depression, suicide and a lot of hurt.
They clearly had fantastic chemistry. It is an amazing feeling to experience. It happened to me once, and when you have that sort of connection you don't even notice there are people around you. Everyone should experience that at least once in their lives, however, the reality is if you experience it once you are very lucky. It was a two-way thing that is obvious, when you feel like that affection comes naturally, and feels right, the cameras would not have made any difference. Paula was very good at her job and really liked her as a presenter. Good on you Paula, just sad things came to a tragic end. I think they would have been ok if the media got off their backs, and Bob just accepted she was gone when feelings change that person is gone end of.
I agree that everyone should experience that kind of chemistry once in life, but not everyone will, ever. Personally, (and I’m not trying to be gross or disrespectful) I think she did that (put her leg over) to hide his erection. It is known these two had affairs before. Some people should wonder what if their child looks up this video, just to look at her dad and mom being together and having a good laugh together, and sees some of the comments that people are making about her departed mom. Have some respect folks. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on things, even though as outside people we only have the version of events that the press lets us know about to base our opinions upon, about their relationship and whatnot... but still, some respect is due there, for the family, the people involved. We are so entitled these days with our freedom of speech that we don't even stop to think whether it's right to speak up our mind when it could hurt other people. Just because we have the right to speak up freely about everything doesn't necessarily mean that we have to exercise it at every chance we get without any consideration for the consequences.
When you make the decision to make a living being a public figure, you have to live with the fact that the public will pay attention to you, both good and bad. Maybe you need to think about the child that grew up with these parents, cheaters. Sometimes it's good for kids to get a dose of reality, instead of having everything rose-tinted. This woman was a groupie. She proactively went after Bob Geldof, the singer of the Boomtown Rats. They were quite big at the time. While with him, she started an affair with Michael Hutchence, singer of INXS. He killed himself while her partner. She later died of an overdose. One of her daughters also died of an overdose. Sorry, but the child that may see these comments should know that this is a good world with people with morals too. We don't all approve of behaviour like this couple displays. You may. I don't. I certainly don't agree with that attitude of "Hush, hush. Don't talk about this in front of the kids." Kids need to know about this shit so that they can make better decisions for themselves. Otherwise, you're just going to get the same old patterns repeating.

He was beaten up and suffered from a very serious brain injury. He had no taste or smell. He suffered from depression alternating with bouts of aggression. I think he chose Paula because he just needed a mature woman, a carer, a mother. He was a very unhappy man. However, the relationship with Paula and all the scandals that happened around this relationship only worsened his mental state. Sometimes men experience the so-called "midlife crisis" and leave their wives for younger partners, because they want to relive their youth and carefree romance. I think that was the case with Paula. She wanted to have an affair because she was a little bored with her twenty-year relationship with Bob Geldof. She wasn't single and unattached like Michael. She had children. It is normal that her husband did not want his children to live on another continent. In addition, Paula started taking drugs with Michael. Bono broke off contact with them due to their drug addiction. It was a couple of two very immature people, even though they were both in their thirties. If Michael had survived, they would 100% not be a couple anymore.

Me too. I had this. Was electrifying. The chemistry, connection, all-consuming. Truly a soulmate connection I have not found since. Alas, he was NPD and prone to jealousy and rage. And all that NPD is. Nothing is ever enough. I still hope to find that connection one day.
Thats a great attitude to have to appreciate what you had without clinging onto it. I find that hard as find I alway compare others to that amazing connection to that person however much I try not to. She was the one who disguised her voice and called the papers so they would find them at the Halkin Hotel and then at Chilston in the country. She wanted to engineer a final breakup with Helena and it worked because it was all out in the open and Helena wasn't havin' it. Poor Helena and Bob. Paula was a real piece of work. She chased him all over the world for years. And yes Michael never met aa drug he didn't like fav ravs were heroin, opium, Ecstasy and blow!! And really really really kinky sex. You can benchmark it atleast from the conception of Pixie Geldof (aka Pixie Hutchence) which would have made it late '89/early '90 as Pixie was born in September of 1990. In all probability it most likely started around the year of "The Tube" interview which was in '85 or '86.

Not sure how many know. Michael suffered a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). After his injury, he experienced incredible physiological and cognitive losses - even if it doesn't seem that way. I know. IMHO his TBI hijacked his life and led to Michael's premature passing. So very sad.

All round, ended in absolute tragedy. Drugs, depression, suicide and a lot of hurt.

They clearly had fantastic chemistry. It is an amazing feeling to experience. It happened to me once, and when you have that sort of connection you don't even notice there are people around you. Everyone should experience that at least once in their lives, however, the reality is if you experience it once you are very lucky. It was a two-way thing that is obvious, when you feel like that affection comes naturally, and feels right, the cameras would not have made any difference. Paula was very good at her job and really liked her as a presenter. Good on you Paula, just sad things came to a tragic end. I think they would have been ok if the media got off their backs, and Bob just accepted she was gone when feelings change that person is gone end of.

While with him, she started an affair with Michael Hutchence, singer of INXS. He killed himself while her partner. She later died of an overdose. One of her daughters also died of an overdose. Sorry, but the child that may see these comments should know that this is a good world with people with morals too. We don't all approve of behaviour like this couple displays. You may. I don't. I think he chose Paula because he just needed a mature woman, a carer, a mother. He was a very unhappy man. However, the relationship with Paula and all the scandals that happened around this relationship only worsened his mental state. Sometimes men experience the so-called "midlife crisis" and leave their wives for younger partners, because they want to relive their youth and carefree romance. I think that was the case with Paula. She wanted to have an affair because she was a little bored with her twenty-year relationship with Bob Geldof. She wasn't single and unattached like Michael. She had children. It is normal that her husband did not want his children to live on another continent. In addition, Paula started taking drugs with Michael. Bono broke off contact with them due to their drug addiction. It was a couple of two very immature people, even though they were both in their thirties. If Michael had survived, they would 100% not be a couple anymore.
Knowing he had a brain injury and never acted truly the same afterwards and seeing this is kind of sad. I feel for Helena, they talked about her while they were flirting on live tv. I miss him truly.

Thats a great attitude to have to appreciate what you had without clinging onto it.
