    What does that mean sir

    • @Aspire32

      Gold is often sold as grain. One grain of gold is 0.065 gm. You can google it

    You said that cohesive form of gold is used to prevent cold welding. But cold welding is an important features of gold, if cohesive prevents cold welding, how can we use cohesive gold for DFG?

    • @Aspire32
      @Aspire32  3 года назад +1

      I am not sure if I mentioned that. Cohesive gold is covered with gas during transportation by making it non cohesive and then in clinic u heat it to remove the gas to make is cohesive

    • @jlalpekhlua9754
      @jlalpekhlua9754 3 года назад

      @@Aspire32 Sir what is the differences between cohesive gold and non cojesive gold?

    • @Aspire32
      @Aspire32  3 года назад

      Non cohesive gold has gas layer on it and wont undergo cold welding

    • @jlalpekhlua9754
      @jlalpekhlua9754 3 года назад

      @@Aspire32 what about choehsive gold? I'm still confused.. You told me that we need to heat it to remove the gas to make it cohesive, it means that cohesive has also gas layer on it..

    • @Aspire32
      @Aspire32  3 года назад

      The manufacturer develops in pure cohesive gold form which does not have any gas layer on it but when it's being transported it absorbs gases from atmosphere, here it becomes non cohesive since the gas layer will prevent the gold from cold welding if u use it this way, so the dentist when recives it, he he heats it again to remove the gas layer and make it cohesive again and then condenses in cavity
