How do they compare to the HF Armory mittens, in terms of profile etc? Looks like the new SF mittens are inspired by / modeled on those.
Looking forward to your Gabriel 2.0 review, I've been using mine for a couple months now and they're my main glove for most weapons now including longsword. Can't say anything long-term yet but I'm happy with them so far and while they aren't quite as protective as mittens I've been getting by well enough even for tournament use. The only time I switch to my HF mittens is for steel montante.

Yeah, I love the Black Knight's from HF, they are solid. These are def close to the BK from HF in their design, there are some differences in the thumb, rivet points, rivets themselves and cuff. In terms of profile, they are almost identical, except the HFA gloves might have a sleeker/profiled cuff compared to the 2.0 HGC Supfen mittens.

Can you take them apart? For repairs and such? Can the thumb be taken off? Can you wash the textile base glove? Is it natural fabric or leather or some sort of synthetic? TY!

are these gloves worth it over the HF black knights? how do they compare to SG hoof? i ask because I'm in my second pair of SG and even custom sized I have the issue of the thumbs coming out of the glove, so I'm thinking about these
