Maybe if we found the right one, but we have found that through out the day as the temperature changes there is to much variability with the handheld machines
@@tomsbrookfarm I guess you’re sailing pretty close to the wind at times, the joy of farming on the south coast. We farmed in the Avon Valley so we never really had daily moisture problems. 👍
Pity they put the tank in the wrong spot😮. How long does it take to load Brian on average and does he have any way of knowing what weights he’s putting on. Love watching those axles of his drop. 😊
They are like a mill and they grind up any weed seeds as they come out the back of the harvester with the chaff and make them unviable. Essentially they are weed killers.
Thanks
Hi guys Bob Mac New boy will follow looks interesting. From the west Kwinana ex dairy farmer south and other things ,looks like a professional deal 😎
Cleaning up on the Mowvember target. Yeah.
Yeah it is overwhelming the support from everyone!!
Great vid JH do you guys know when your getting your case road track?
Hopefully January
Are there any 18 meter Midwest or Honeybee fronts in your area-?@@tomsbrookfarm
Great vid JH💪
Does Brian have cameras on each of his trailers for viewing fill levels? ie, how does he know when to move forward while filling?
Yer he has cameras and also scales to aid with filling. In a video next week we tour around his truck and he explains it all
🎯
How does the truck unload the grain?
I was thinking the same
It’s a ‘tipper’ , like a dump truck
They tip up and the back door opens. There is a video next week where we walk around Brian’s truck and he explains everything on it,
you mentioned town ,would that be esperance ?
Yep Esperance
How much does a 100t field bin cost these days and why don't they have lids.
JH would it not be possible to calibrate a hand held moisture meter say once a day with the infratech and save a lot of driving back and forth ?
Maybe if we found the right one, but we have found that through out the day as the temperature changes there is to much variability with the handheld machines

Hey JH if u don’t mind me asking why do you run seed terminators?
We use them to kill any weed seeds we may have growing in the crops. Mainly rye grass is the target.

You may have mentioned this in a prior video and I missed it, how many bushels (or lbs.) does Brian's grain train semi hold ?
About 174,000lbs
79tonne
@@tomsbrookfarm😮
How many truckloads of grain do you average for a full harvest season?
Honestly depends on the yields. Anywhere from 100-200 loads a year yield depending on
You might have said it already but what sort of yields are getting?
Barley is around the high 2’s low 3’s and canola went 1.1t/ha. Haven’t got into the wheat yet
Are there any 18 meter Midwest or Honeybee fronts in your area-?
What is the crop???
Barley
And what do seed terminators do
i believe it terminates weeds seed that may be in the crop. just a way to minimise weeds in the coming season

Obviously you know what you are doing but the Combine looks to be travelling way too fast. Is it not throwing out a lot of grain in the straw.
how hard is it to get a job in ag in south were dus one go an look for jobs ?
You could try and agency or gumtree, I know a lot of farmers advertise on there (I in the past have used gumtree)
How many tonne does the truck hold
ab triples are about 75 to 77 tonne of grain hope that gives you and idea
79tonne
