My boyfriend has let me (after a year) to curate a skincare routine for him. He now has a cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen for the morning. Oil cleanser, cleanser, serum and moisturiser for the evening 😀
I didn’t realize hyram was so young... it’s not that he looks old, it’s just he seems to have his shit together with a career and everything and I’m a whole mess so I didn’t realize how close in age we were lmao
Everytime Hyram explains he's a skincare specialist it sounds like a safety explanation on a plane. But I memorized it all and I'm just vibing with him lmaoo
Alright this is the last time ima comment this bcz she’s sorta becoming irrelevant now. But hyram you should totally react to the chemists daughter on tik tok. She’s telling people to put all sorts of bad DIY skincare on their face. Even telling people to put hydrogen peroxide on their face. She uses the fact that her mom is a chemist as “evidence” that it’s safe.
Ok genuine question bc I'm dumb: why is it bad to put hydrogen peroxide on your face? I understand why it would be bad all over but what about pimples or scabs on the face? Wouldn't it disinfect the area and get rid of the bacteria in it?
@@sarahp2103 Hydrogen peroxide is majorly used for skin lightening and acne. It also acts as a disinfectant and antiseptic for the skin to prevent any infection caused by minor cuts, bruises or burns.
Sarah P I used to think the same thing, so I totally get the question. Hydrogen Peroxide is really bad for the skin because it pulls out all of the moisture in the skin, which is terrible for your natural moisture barrier, and causes your skin to react with more breakouts because it is going through shock, which ultimately causes your skin to produce more acne-causing oil and seabum
@@drinidalipaj7462 is correct. But it should also be used under the advice of a doctor - misuse can fuck up your skin. I still have persistent rosecea now, 10 years on, after over using a benzyl peroxide cream as a teenager (a different, but similar molecule, in term of the effect on skin). It was misprescribed because my acne was superficial and caused by my overactive sebum production, combined with the fast turnover of my skin and hair was causing the sticky sebum-dead skin cement to block my pores. Benzyl peroxide should be used for people with an overgrowth of P.acnes bacteria, which wasn't the case for me (I only found the cause with lots of research and trial and error). I'm not sure, but I THINK benzyl peroxide is better though. Like, I've NEVER seen a derm recommend that you use hydrogen peroxide on your skin (as a chemist myself, I predict it's because hydrogen peroxide is WAY more reactive, and a smaller molecule, so can enter deeper into the skin, causing worse and deeper damage).

Billie razors are also incredible!! They’re also a subscription service and it’s a flat $9 charge for every order and you choose how often you get a shipment (you have the choice from automatically receiving a shipment every month to just whenever you manually go in and order one). The first shipment is $9 for the razor, a magnetic razor holder for the shower (life changer) and two replacement heads. Then each additional shipment has 4 heads until you decide to cancel! It’s honestly changed my shaving life because I struggle sooooo much with razor burn on my legs.
Day 13 of asking for a mega-makeover series where: Hyram does the skincare Brad Mondo does the hair Robert Welsh does the makeup HauteLeMode styles the outfit
I got my esthetics license last year and I feel like 90% of products claim things to sell product and don’t care about the consumer. It’s sad but true, so we have to read all the ingredients and know what they do to the skin to pick the right product instead of relying on the flashy word on the bottles
heyy hyram, so I and a lot of Muslims use an 'ittar' (non-alcoholic, high concentration musk), just a little bit, I've seen a lot of people use it right before bed and when I tried it too, it was super relaxing and calming. You should definitely try it.
Jessica Hammond my boyfriend tried the arm and hammer non aluminum deodorant and it turned his whole armpit bright red and RAW poor thing. I was surprised because I have super sensitive skin and it never bothered my armpits.
Shave direction on the neck depends. For me, with-the-grain is down on the face, up on the neck. Best irritation-eliminator for me was ditching cartridge razors and supermarket gel-in-a-can in favour of double-edge safety razors (Muhle R89 for me) and a quality shaving soap/cream. One blade against the face is definitely better than, 3, 5 or however many there are these days! Bit of a learning curve to get and maintain the correct angle (since the head doesn't flex for you) and higher upfront investment for the razor, but cheaper and less wasteful over the long run. The whole self-care ritual of whipping up a nice lather and practising wet-shaving also kinda drew me towards upping my skincare game in general (love me a good routine), so there's that too!
I would love a video on Dr. Bronner's! I once bought a bottle of the unscented soap and tried to use it as body wash, which was fine for the most part, except that it made some of the more delicate/sensitive areas of my skin burn lol. I never used it as body wash again after that, only hand soap.

Yes do a review on Dr.Bronner’s I’ve seen some people use it on their faces saying it works like magic so I need to know !!
I've been using the lavender one, I haven't seen much of a difference and it makes my skin dry 😩
Yesss please make a video about Dr.Bronners
Billie razors are also incredible!! They’re also a subscription service and it’s a flat $9 charge for every order and you choose how often you get a shipment (you have the choice from automatically receiving a shipment every month to just whenever you manually go in and order one). The first shipment is $9 for the razor, a magnetic razor holder for the shower (life changer) and two replacement heads. Then each additional shipment has 4 heads until you decide to cancel! It’s honestly changed my shaving life because I struggle sooooo much with razor burn on my legs.
Two things I’d love to hear Hyram’s thoughts on:
1. The Inkey List Tranexamic Acid
2. NuDerma high frequency skin therapy
Krissy Leinen i would love for him to review the inkey list trex acid
Never realised how beautiful Troye's eyes are😳
"did you take my rosehip oil" LITERALLY ME WITH MY MOM
Heidi Espéranza me too girl
This funny because you’re both 24 but look like 16 😂
Yes we love your reaction videos.. Susan is good too but I REALLY LOVe watching you drag peoples routines!!! Ily!!
Day 13 of asking for a mega-makeover series where:
Hyram does the skincare
Brad Mondo does the hair
Robert Welsh does the makeup
HauteLeMode styles the outfit
Rachel oop shade to James
this is going to be really difficult to make happen and it won't happen any time soon. there's a pandemic happening, stop spamming lol
Chelsea G I mean she just wants this to be seen? like obviously it won’t happen rn but it’s good to give him an idea for later i think
RUclips queer eye I love
Rachel Chloe ting does the fitness
Lol i always thought that Hyram says "HELLO HI everyone". Now i've realized that it's "ALOHA everyone" 😂😂
I used to think that too! ❤️
Omg what😯😂 just noticed now that you mentioned it😂
🤯🤯🤯
Omg I freaked out with Hyram when he was shaving the wrong way ooof INGROWNSSSS
and yes it’s wet, toothpaste and wet again.
THANK YOU lol ❤️️❤️️
"I reluctantly approve" should be a meme 😂😂
Hyram: Someone who looks like a 13 year old (ref. to himself)
Alec Benjamin: LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF 😎
Troye in his whole video: like the smell of it... Wow the fragrance is nice...
Hyram: ummm not sure about that
Hyram I wish I had your videos during my high school years! Anyway here’s to good skin from my twenty’s onwards thanks to you ✨
pls react to madeleine petsch's 38 step skincare routine!!
He already did looooool
I didn't think he did, I thought Cassandra Bankson did
38? Holy shit.
I'm just allergic to the aluminum in antiperspirant so the "natural" hype has really helped me.
Jessica Hammond my boyfriend tried the arm and hammer non aluminum deodorant and it turned his whole armpit bright red and RAW poor thing. I was surprised because I have super sensitive skin and it never bothered my armpits.
@@sammyt1313 It was the baking soda, a lot of people have issues with natural deodorant with it. Some don't use it tho.
I LITERALLY JUST WATCHED THAT VIDEO AND THOUGHT YOU SHOULD REACT TO IT
Yasss perfect timing!!
happy belated birthday, hyram! 🎂 welcome to the 24s club - guess we’re all the same age!
Aww thank you so much Lea!! ❤️️
I totally agree!m with what you have to say about makeup wipes.... I DO NOT UNDETERSTAND! Micellar water or oil is so much more effectiv!
React to Madelaine Petchs skin care routine!
TANA MONGEAUS SKIN CARE ROUTINE NEXT!!!!! It's gonna be such a funny reaction
I feel like Hyram talk 'bout Troye Sivan's songs almost like the way he talks about skincare products
I would love a video on Dr. Bronner's! I once bought a bottle of the unscented soap and tried to use it as body wash, which was fine for the most part, except that it made some of the more delicate/sensitive areas of my skin burn lol. I never used it as body wash again after that, only hand soap.
Yesss, would absolutely LOVE a Dr. Bronners review! Pretty please 🥰
