Oleander Desertduo Animatic

I started this yesterday, on a whim. Oh? The other projects I've teased? Ah, gee, totally don't know what you're talking about (has been procrastinating for weeks)
This actually makes me really happy, y'all don't understand, I wanted to do a desertduo animatic that shows scar's perspective of the duo foreverrr. Mainly doublelife, of course! Was super fun to work on :DD

Your animatic just made me realise a fantastic point.
Grian made his point to Scar that they were soulmates with the dripstone. Grian killed BigB with drip stone on his soulmate.
Also absolutely fantastic animatic. There were so many people saying scar was not bothered by Grian wanting BigB as a soulmate when the plot was first going around but Scar was clearly upset. It’s nice seeing these from Scars point of view. Betrayed by his soulmate and then no real resolution for it because BigB died instead of Grian choosing Scar and then both of them dying. A perfect soulmate story you’ve perfectly captured

Oh this is brilliant!! I adore how you draw scar. The bit with them tugging at their bond until it snapped is so good!! I really love how scar’s expression gets more furious with each frame. The bit where it’s a flashback to third life makes it all hurt so much more!! Love your art!!
