If I may make a suggestion. Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam, "Wonder if I take you home" is the song. She's considered the queen of freestyle.

They were one of the greatest banda In the 80's. Every thing they did was golden!
I went to a few of their concerts in the 70s and 80s. There had to be 10 women of every man there. Darryl is one of the best singer/songwriters in American music history.

Yep. It's a knockout song. It's definitely in my top tier list. Top 20 for sure, if not top 10. In terms of a pop song, squared off at the edges it's about as perfect as it gets.

I saw them in concert in South Carolina in 1977 or 78 when they were popular. They were absolutely horrible. Worst concert I've ever been to. I never liked them much anyway.
