thank you again for having me on the podcast! loved chatting with you!
(p.s. having a blast with Rune Factory 5!)
Emma greatly appreciates your playthroughs. Thank you for providing such cozy content.
Thank you for joining me Emma! So glad you're enjoying RF5!
You know what game I miss the most ? The original first FarmVille on Facebook 😂. Man I loved that game and was obsessed
Me too
YES! I was literally just thinking about Farmville while watching this lmao. And Cityville too, and I loved Treasure something, all by Zyega too.
Big farm story for switch gives me Farmville vibes with a story. Farm together also is very similar but doesn't have a story. It does have multiplayer though.
Really interesting podcast! I love the discussion u and Emma had about replayability of the farming games. Stardew is also my main go-to, but I do get burn out from it, everyone are different. I try not to play like, hours of Stardew, just like, play 1-2 days when I log in to play a game, just to keep myself progressing toward Perfection in Stardew, and not to get burnt out if I play it for hours in a day.
Lots of upcoming games in November I'm looking forward to, so it's always hard to juggle around and I agree with what u two are saying about comfort game, we go back to play the same game for comfort and think about do we have energy to play a completely different game? I felt like that with Stardew, I played a bit, got overwhelmed, then I watched lots of Stardew for Beginner videos on RUclips from several different RUclipsrs to pick up something new from each one of them because they all play it differently and have great tips, now Stardew is like, the farming game that I keep going back to. But I'm also breaking the farming game to play some of my backlogs to mix it up a bit.
Great discussion from u two, I really enjoyed this one. Thanks Josh and Emma!
My two favorites are cozy content creators.
28:45 I always do this, I love to watch all the cutscene with all bachelorettes, especially in RF and SoS games, Marvelous really doing a great job with their character developement, but my main save file is always with the one I love the most 💖
I don't feel guilty replaying favorite games. I only feel guilty buying more games I never get around to playing because I'm replaying something I already finished. Right now I just restarted wylde flowers.
Stardew Valley is my favorite farming sim! However, the lack of overlay to show how far the scarecrow covers has always annoyed me. Although mods are a nice way to add variety to a play through I do not think that their existence excuses the developer from adding quality of life functions to the base game.
Have you played garden paws at all?
You need too play amber isle longer it gets better the longer you play.
I don't play but think minecraft probably has mods.
