Yes very well done Hamilton Raikkonen and Nick Heidfeld great drives by them. It was a still a strong drive by Alonso despite his mistakes he was pushing Heidfeld for all he was worth towards the end.
I noticed one thing. In the period when refueling was possible, most teams' strategy was still two stops instead of three. McLaren's three-stop strategy was a risky strategy. Hamilton started from pole position, and the safer way was to use two pit stops. Hamilton passed Raikkonen on the last lap, which showed that McLaren made the right bet. McLaren was betting that Ferrari had higher fuel consumption, so Ferrari would be slow in the last few laps. Three stops beat two stops, just like Hamilton later beat Verstappen's one stop with two stops in Hungary. It was risky, but the stakes were really high.
