If you are referring to Supreme Court judges they are not elected and instead appointed by the president for life until they pass away, retire, or are impeached, but if you are referring to other judges they could be elected.

At 1:15 - In that speech, Thurmond doesn't say the word "Negro", he actually says "N-word". If his words are true sentiments on how he felt about Black People, I wonder what were Thurmonds' sentiments towards Black People, when as Judge, Thurmond was on the bench? Do you think Thurmond would take into account a persons ethnicity and rule not in favor? If so, how many Black People had their lives ruined because of their ethnicity. REPARATIONS MAN!!!

What the hell are you babbling on about? "Forced integration is just as bad as forced separation"? That's a fallacious, facile, and fatuous comparison! You are not 'forced' to integrate with anyone if you don't choose to! You are not 'forced' to marry or to associate with anyone of a different race, but under segregation, you were not allowed to, even if you wanted to! In the US, the north was just as racially segregated as the south, but that was through choice, white flight in Chicago, for example, but in the South, segregation was mandated by law. For your homework, Whatever whatever, you are required to research and study 'de facto vs de jure segregation'! Did you vote for Agent Orange during the 2020 elections?

100% wrong. Segregation is *inherently* unequal and is *inherently* harmful to those segregated. Integration might *feel* like oppression to the majority (whites) but it is not, no matter how much they whine about it. Any excuse made to oppose integration is founded in either ignorance or racism.
