Love Leblancs. My first was a Normandy 4, then Noblet 45, then a bunch of Leblancs settling with a LL set. Be careful of various buildup of stuff. Draw a swab through the instrument, both directions, and try to clean the toneholes with a Qtip from time to time. Also, bladder pads (and leather) tend to become more porous over time especially at 10 years on avg, which you may not notice as it's a slow process.
Great video and tips!
Glad you liked it! Say Hi to Curt.
Simple regular maintenance is the key to a better experience with your brass or woodwind instrument.
And this is a simple, though one of the more critical regular maintenance for wood clarinet. Not needed for plastic/synthetic ones.
I'm 27 this year and have been playing the same LeBlanc since 3rd grade. Never cleaned or serviced it in any way haha
